Many congrats. I just got back from the Factory Tour at Bowling Green this past Friday. Right now they are building about 95-97 cars per shift, and 1 in every 12 cars on the line is a Z06. I got to hear a beautiful white Z06 come to life, and get driven off the line for the first time. This was my 3rd time doing the factory tour, first time for my son. First time I did it was back in 1999 with the C5, then in 2016 for the C7, now for the C8. What a car the current Z06 is. For now, I'll stick to, and enjoy my 2004 CE Z06.

I'm sure Tyler will give him the tour and take him for a ride, but I don't see the need for the whole 9 yards on this particular car right now (even though Tyler bringing hoopties into the Car Wizard to inspect are my favorite content on this channel).

My wife and I had a 2017 and 2019 Stingray, each with a 6.2L V8 and 460 horsepower. We sold hers in 2021 and mine last May. I cannot even imagine what 670 hp would be like AND having an 8,600 rpm redline! Lucky man you are, Hoovie.

Congratulations brother I'm in my 23 c8 hardtop convertible driving from Orlando to fort Myers to do some more hurricane claims. I am an insurance adjuster and I have a telescopic ladder in the trunk and roofing boots and then 4 months I've put 7500 miles on the Corvette. I think I finally know why I love the idea of the C8 Z06 so much. It might just be the perfect balance between the original NSX and the LFA. It has the all of the tech you could want, but with plenty of power and a glorious noise. With the warranty they are giving it it might even end up somewhat reliable. Sure the noise isn't a V10 with a Yamaha intake, but the price is also nowhere near the LFA. The price/performance is off the charts.

I've never heard of a stipulation like that before but considering it's the first gen of that particular powertrain I'm sure Chevrolet is a little nervous about people tracking it until they find out whether the new powertrain is going to be bulletproof or completely fall apart after 36k miles!

Our dealership offers a lifetime POWERTRAIN on most vehicles. 10 years and newer under 100k miles. Good anywhere in North America. It mirrors the factory POWERTRAIN and kicks in after factory expires

The CF wheels are one of the best options to get if you could get em a la carte I would. They’re actually much stronger than a standard cast Al wheel or even forged. They would however be prone to curb rash, & if scuffed up would be tougher to fix- I’d probably put some ppf on them if possible &/or ceramic coat

I absolutely totally love the choice that you made in the car color. The color speaks of sophistication, but with accents to give it the wow factor. I was bored out of my mind at work one day in April of 2021, so I looked at the inventory of the Chevy dealer I've been buying trucks from since 1999. Low and Behold, they had a pristine, barely driven 2017 Chevy Colorado CCLB Z-71 with the 2.8L Duramax that they had took in on trade. OPPS, I bought it. I then proceeded to tow the car home that I drove to the dealership in, on a U-Haul trailer. I drive across WA State to buy the Colorado.

Why do people congratulate him on buying another very expensive car?? He hasn't won something or suddenly gotten a car he can't afford. He either has owned or owns Ferrari's Lambos Porsche's Many Mercedes Bentley's on and on he's not poor. So much for Hoovies commitment to go back to buying Hoopties. All he buys now are the cars no one in the regular price bracket can afford. I worked as a car salesman years ago and there's a real inside type of attitude when it comes to car sales and those that sell them. Hoovie is such a total car sales person. Not a real petrol head.

I'm excited for you. But that price tag is insane. What happened to cars being affordable? I remember even at my age of 30 when trucks and sports cars were attainable. Nice car man. Enjoy it, you deserve it!

Go to Spring Mountain and do the course -good discount with your car purchase, and you'll get some good content. Did they even do a PDI on this? So much plastic to peel

IMHO for fast road driving this is the perfect spec Love the colour and options Z07 package only really needed for track

Good thing on the powertrain warntee.... they all have torque tube balance issues. ( chevy trying to keep that under wraps)
