I loved this video so much. Antique toys are so fascinating to me. I do have a small collection of antique dolls so maybe i should start collecting other toys too. I am from the UK and Jeri i love all your videos especially the ones inside your home as it is so beautiful and i love all your antiques.
@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow6 жыл бұрын
Hi Sue, there is a "toy" from the UK that I collect, called Cococubs. They were the little metal animals that came in a box of Coco after the war. They are not easy to find in the US, but I have about 7 so far. Thank you for watching the video, I will be doing more vids in the house over the winter months.
@sueb70656 жыл бұрын
Hi Jeri, I have seen those on eBay in the UK but i have only ever bought the Britains metal farming figures and animals which i have quite a few of. I will look forward to seeing more of your videos.

Toys were built to last a bit better than they are now. You've got a beautiful collection of antique toys.
@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow6 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is amazing how well some of these toys have survived, but being made of wood, tin and cast iron, I suppose doesn't hurt. So glad we still have them for posterity.

Thank you for sharing some of your wonderful collection of toys. I remember playing some of those games at my Grandparent's camp w/ cousins in summer! I have my father's "My Bookhouse" (1920s )a large wooden house shaped bookcase that holds 6 story books. I loved them as a child as did my children - 3 generations. You have some lovely treasures there. Merry Christmas.
