Sure, I can’t forgive and forget. I did that for too long that, but when it becomes where you are being manipulated and he slowly learns to not have any respect for you because you keep forgiving and forgetting then it’s a problem.

I have walked away for the same reason. 6 years 3 kids later and no matter how I forgave and how much I tried and looked for God did it help Ik he can do all but I feel like sometimes you have to walk away unless you want to be miserable for the rest of your life

Remember the story of Abigail there is a sermon from John hagee and there is another teaching on biblical reasons for divorce. I just keep listening to uplifting sermons on marriage because we are what we listen to what we think and who we mingle with. I've learned to gray Rock as well not always but practicing it

Hi , I am recently separated, wow I would give anything to be reconciled with her , we have 3 beautiful boys there little still, this is the worst to love someone so much but not be able to hold on to them because of my own flaws and sins , because of the struggles of the world , just because of everything, but the love is there I do care for her, I love her , I think I even adore her so much lol ido if that’s a good thing or not but I sincerely do love her ,, I am here asking not my will be done but your will be done Lord!!! What if there is severe PsTD and triggers and OCD ? Becuase if the spouse detrimental pain upon you? I almost lost my sanity trying to do eveything and love with eveything I am. I just wanted my husband to love me 😢 That’s all. Simple. Should I stay in the marriage ?

Jesus says that fornication is the only acceptable reason for divorce. If your spouse is not faihful, then you may depart. On a side note, Jesus did not say you must divorce and un faithful spouse, he only said it was ok. Weather you want to stay is up to you. Try to move forward and be positive as much as you can.

That's when you truly have to put God first above everything. When we chase love for love in return we are idolizing the feeling of love and giving love in an almost transactional way while idolizing our spouse over God. And putting the unintentional expectation on them to make you feel loved, in the way you feel loved, which sets the path towards resentment. That door cracks open and then the enemy swiftly sneaks in. Look in and UP. ❤ Been there and I know it's hard. Get out of thinking in the flesh and seek the word of God more than ever.

Times have changed. If you read the below comments, most men are trying to hold on to their marriage not the other way around. On the other hand, we men still hold the responsibility to be the leader of the home and to love the wife as Christ loves the church. My kids are going to suffer for our pending divorce. It's just not fair to them.

My question is... How to remain patient and preserver when no matter what you do, she doesn't forgive or communicate with you? Even in changing your attitude and ways to better yourself, she still shows no sign of caring nor loving you? My situation is difficult, because there are NO words!
