Akchktually, after they wanted to kill each other they realized it wasn't both their faults. They have forgave each other. They became more bonded than ever - and Gabrielle became more of a saint which made Xena admirer her more. The last season, Gabrielle became the successor of Xena. It showed Gabrielle as skilled as Xena. Gabrielle became a warrior like she has always intended.

Wasn't the discussion between Xena and Gabrielle at the beginning about Hope's possible change not only meant to misguide Seraphine, so she would trust Gabrielle and convince her to get freed? But Seraphine would lead Xena and Gabriella just to Hope. I don't think there was a rift and they forgave eachother.

@Cheetah Panther because gabrielle's daughter was on the verge of killing thousands and ending the world, and it was within gabrielle's control to stop it. while xena's daughter because a conquerer while xena and gabrielle were frozen and the second xena got out of there she put a stop to eve murdering people. gabrielle wasnt able to stop hope without killing her because unlike eve, hope was pure evil and not even human.

@Cheetah Panther what on earth are talking about. xena saw gabrielle being raped by demonic fire, then give birth to a rapidly progressing child, which killed within hours of being born. xena gave the child the benefit of the doubt but then it killed people. hope was evil from the beginning and thats simply the facts and xena let that play out. the difference is that livia is a person and not a demon. hope is a demon, a human deserves much more slack which is what we saw with livia. xena is not a hypocrite, hope is evil and needed to die asap.

Hope. Love has nothing to do with this. A mother loves her child with everything in her. Had Xena chased Hope without any actual reason, Gabrielle would have chosen her child over her; that being said, Gabrielle DID realize that it didn't matter how much she loved her daughter, Hope was a danger and has to be eliminated. Xena had little to do with it, Solan's death was just a slap of reality.

Yes she did. Because of Gabrielle's lies and deception Solan died. Gabrielle's maternal affection for Hope prevented her from seeing the truth about her. I mean, that thing commited it's first murder within hours after it's birth. Xena was right about Hope all along. Even Hercules, who's very compassionate, would have known that Hope is evil.
