That's why her only way out of the situation was to fake Hope's death and remain with Xena as if nothing had happened.

Though I`ve never associated with this series, I find the character of Xena to be so sexualized, I imaged what her future what be like with some men in her life. That is, until she had her alley, Gabrille, who is considered to be her lesbian partner throughout their adventures, until Gabrille starts giving birth to the son of Dahak, an evil god. Until, it became likely later on in the series that XENA`S newborn baby was likely to be with Gabrille.
