These girls deserve a hero's welcome home. Hope Solo, daughter of a homeless veteran, got seriously injury and still mananged to come back and make it big. She's a role model. I'm not American, but it's impossible not to fall in love with these girls.

I'm a cross country runner and I'd like to say that this story has really taught me not to take what I have for granted. Its true that as athletes, we love to relieve stress through working out and I completely understand the frustration of being injured. Keep up the good work Hope! You're such a great motivation.

Im 13 and a goal kepper. Hope is my biggest insporation. When I grow up I just want to be like Hope. About a year ago I injured my knee. I thought i could never play soccer again but with me watching Hope and how she got through it, it gave me some confidence. I thought if Hope can do it then i can do it. I want to thank Hope for giving me confidence and also my teamates for believing in me. So thank you Hope : )

i used to play for everton and was there goalkeeper. i torn my supraspinatus in my right sholder luckily enough am left handed lol :) i know her pain what shes going through but my injury was 12 years ago now. so i went to see my doctor because am starting to get the pain back and she says i might have to have an operation. hope is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and still has a great career ahead of her good luck to her, peace and love xxx

I had the same surgery on my left shoulder and I agree with every word she says. It's a tough thing to go though. The thing is that Hope Solo made a full recovery and is better than ever is what means the most. I have made a full recovery myself and I am faster and stronger then ever. To anyone going though a shoulder situation like this. GET IT WORKED ON! it will be worth it! It will suck at first like she says but it's with it.
