Got these recently . I absolutely love the quality of the machining on these. It's just something you don't usually get anymore. What do you think of their dropper lever? Is it better than a wolftooth?

Best dropper lever I've used tbh 👌

Is it possible to fit 220 rotors on an orange patriot? Front and rear
@DK-wd8juАй бұрын
Should I got 220 or 200mm Front & Rear? I’m 200lbs on a 45lb Heckler SL e-bike. Also is there a lever adapter for OneUp dropper lever and axs ttype shifter?
@cyclefactoryuk19 күн бұрын
Take your pick, I'd suggest 220 at your heft 😁. Yes the one up and sram are the same adapter.

Can i ask why you use V4 calipers with E4 discs? Do you think the proper V4 vented discs that match those calipers would give too much stopping power? Thanks
@cyclefactoryuk7 ай бұрын
I doubt it, they can just stand a bit more heat. If you drag the brakes a lot, it might be a bit of a benifit.

The vented rotors then at around 3mm or would you still stick with the 2.3mm standard?
@cyclefactoryuk5 ай бұрын
2.3 all the way, we fit.lots of these brakes, nobody ever buys the vented rotors. If you're a real heavy rider on a heavy bike and ride 10min descents and drag the brakes a lot, there may be a case for vented rotors. Otherwise, 2.3 in the 220mm or 200mm mix is proven 👍.

@@cyclefactoryuk center lock 220 will this work
@cyclefactoryuk3 ай бұрын
@ronnienewsome800 it should yes just check for potential clearance issues with different brands of rotors. Hope do now do centre lock that would be the best route

Are there any potential problems running 220mm rotors on the rear?

yes, the frame could snap, google it.

why do you prefer those rotors to other two part floaring ones?
@cyclefactoryuk10 ай бұрын
The two piece is just for looks really, these are thicker and work better.

Depends what bike or fork it's for dude. Hope do most of them.

Bought a Hope P adapter for a 220 rotor on a FOX 38 fork and it doesn't fit... The caliper is way too close to the fork and doesn't push it out far enough for a 220 rotor

Always get the braided cables not the standard, it's a cheap option when ordering and keeps the power consisitent over the long run.
@cyclefactoryuk5 ай бұрын
Braided hoses don't sit well or look nice on the bike and don't always fit through internal routing. They provide a touch more power but you don't need it on Tech 4 V4 brakes.
@TurboLevoSam5 ай бұрын
@@cyclefactoryuk They sit perfectly well, look better than cheap black rubber so no idea where you get that from? No issues fitting through the internals either so again alot of rubbish you seem to chat. Have you actually owned them with braided cables? Also the fact you say they give more power but thats not needed tells me everything i need to know about your level of riding.
