They always know. When I adopted two rotties (boy and girl littermates) one of the shelter people mentioned to the manager of the place that the two puppies weren't barking and she was worried (I guess they were pretty loud). We couldn't take them right there and then and had to return, but they knew ...I told the lady we were adopting them and that they knew.

It's ashame how so many dogs are put down because they are labeled aggressive when actually they are fearful and they go into defensive mode. Especially the pitbull and mastiff breeds. . You guys do an awesome job. Hope Tank overcomes his fearfulness and finds a loving home. ♥️🐶

Amazing how quickly Tank settled - that tail wag, such a tell tale sign - all he wanted was someone to love him. :-) It looks like someone could have been feeding him. At least he was fortunate in that sense. Obviously lonely and starved for attention. Thrilled to hear he has a family of his own ....

Definitely not much Pitt in there, yeah. There is some kind of bully breed in there, lab too based on the anatomy. But I'd really say he's more of a lab or a similar breed at least, than a pitt.

+Gustavo Buquera - Actually it would be -awfully- obvious if there was a molloser type of breed like that in him. Just because they have brindle fur isn't enough to say that they are part of his bloodline. Molloser will always pass on their overbred skin and heavy features to a good extend. If anything, I'd say he's a Labrador/Labrador-like X Pitt/Staffy mix. Based on his anatomy and phenotype it's the most likely mix.
