Eldad has an aura and a genuine energy that animals pick up on and even the most fearful animals are quickly calmed and made to feel comfortable by him. Eldad is the dog whisperer, cat whisperer, and every other animal whisperer also. 😁

More than likely someone's pet. Quite possibly belonging to whomever owned and/or rented the burnt out building. She looks reasonably well groomed, well fed. She is friendly. Doesn't really protest the cage (weird carrier in her mind). And she is tolerant of dogs indicating she grew up among them.

When I am 18 years old I am going to be an animal rescuer I am 12 rn when I am 16 or 17 I am going to a animal college means that they give u two choices animal rescuer or animal docter and I am going to be an animal rescuer bec I want to see animals happy not sad bec alot of animals have to suffer...... And I want them to have a better life! I Love animals since I was 2 years old and I have rescued a cat she only has three legs... Good save & rescue, I am not fond of heights, or being at the top of ladders, Well done, for saving that lovely, friendly cat, She does have a nice bubbly personality & character. Beautiful Calico. Bubbles has the most chilled cattitude. Wasn't afraid to approach a stranger (Eldad) took to a bath like a duck to water and didn't freak over the blow dryer. To top things off, didn't have a concern in the world about the dog in the vet hospital of the little ankle biter that was attempting to show dominance in the shelter home.

We have 6: One from a box of free kittens at a farmer's stand. She's 14 now. Four are from the local animal shelter and one that showed up in our yard one day and hung around all summer.

@@1940limited That's awesome!!! We have 1 from humane society, 1 from a dumpster behind our hotel when on vaca!!! She was sick and full of fleas so we packed her up took her home and to the vet, 1 showed up on our porch skinny and full of fleas so we kept her.

The cats we got from the animal shelter did not have fleas, but our stray that showed up in our yard and the cat we got from the farmer's stand were both full of fleas and ticks when we got them. We took care of that immediately. Now they live in the lap of luxury. I think our big boy who hung around the house all summer chose this place and was going to make it his home if it was the last thing he did! :-)

I don’t think she was abandoned. She might have climbed a tree, jumped onto the roof, and couldn’t get down. Wish the family had microchipped her. All 4 of mine are chipped and wear collars with tags for this reason.

The dog doesn't look overfed so I doubt if the cat is being overfed but being a former street moggie, she might be helping herself to a little extra just in case. I've had several street cats and some will steal any food left unprotected because they're used to grabbing what they can, when they can, Usually that stops after they are assured meals will be regular and there is no need to scavenge or steal. (I had one little street guy who would hide on the top of the fridge and dive bomb into my dinner plate as soon as it was full. He'd grab what he could, hide and eat it and lick anything off his body that stuck. He stopped that after a couple of months.)

If you'd had food in that trap, she probably would have opened the door herself to get to to it lol. I am afraid of ladders and not a fan of heights, so you are absolutely amazing for climbing up/down from a roof with a lot of gear in spite of not liking heights. I swear if I had more money than I know what to do with.. I would have acres of land for dogs.
