Many years ago I answered an ad for a "free to a good home" kittens. I went looking to get a calico kitten from the litter. The owner had one kitten handy, which he handed to me while he tried to find the calico which was hiding. The kitten he handed me was a little ball of black kitten that proceeded to crawl all over me meowing all the while. He was still looking for the other one and I told him never mind, I'd take this one. Named her Chelsea and had her for almost 19 years. She was a lovely girl.

@@leslie2149 Aw that is a beautiful story. I only ever had one all black kitten and I found him under a water storage tank at a hotel. I was working my shift at the front desk when a bellman told me he could hear the kitten in the big concrete enclosure behind the building. I went to look and could hear it crying too. So I climbed down into the 12ft deep square hole in the ground that houses the water tank. When I got down I couldn't see it but I could hear it. Peered under the largest tank and there it was. I was in my work uniform (pink long-sleeved blouse, navy knee-hi skirt and black low-heeled pumps). I wasn't prepared to go crawling under to get him just yet. But all I did was lay my hand flat, palm up, on the concrete pad that the tank sat on and called it to me. Out walked the fluffiest, chubbiest long--haired black cat I'd ever seen and he put his two front paws on my hand, looked up at me and meowed demanding-ly. I said: Oh you are MINE! I fell instantly in love. I took him home and he gave 10 fun and loving years to me and my family. He was such a dorky cat and I love and miss him to this day. :) Oh, and we named him Ash 'cos my little bros had a Pokemon obsession at the time. Ok, fine... I was kinda into Pokemon too. LOL

I rescued a black kitten and took him to the shelter. They said no one would adopt him because people think black cats are bad luck. They were right and wrong. Nobody adopted him so I went back in two months and adopted him myself.

My black cat was in the shelter for nine months before I adopted him! I couldn't believe it. He is the sweetest boy I have ever met and I have owned cats all my life. For how lonely he must have been for those nine months, he sure makes up for it with all the cuddles and purring he can muster.

Ryl Gou Cats are easy to pet because they are independent and are almost self sufficent, only you have to teach them where to litter, rest it is not much of a task so go forward and get yourself the kitten they are very loveable once you give them enough love

If you do not live in the area where this kitten is located check your local animal shelter/rescue groups there are kittens and cats of all ages waiting to be adopted everywhere. Not saying you have to but if yippy have room and the finances try to adopt two kittens about the same age, they will keep each other busy when you are not around to play with them....just make sure to get them fixed when they are the proper age to be fixed and microchipped. Wish you luck with getting your kitten/cat they do make great pets.

Hi! I just want to say I have been watching this channel for two years and has made me smile every time. I want to tell you about a dog named Champ. He lives two houses down, but isn’t being taken care of correctly. It’s very sad to see him because he is barely getting enough food and his humans don’t care about him. He has been chained up in the backyard his whole life and hasn’t had a bath since he was a puppy. Me, my cousin, my sister, and one of my friends have decided to try and start something called “Hope 4 Paws: Rescue by kids” and we want to try and get at least 5 animals before we truely decide if our business should grow. We need more volunteers and more places to foster pets. Every like and comment will save an animals life!! Volunteer to save an animals life in your state, city, town, and home.
