Hey fellas. As a Aboriginal Australian and big 4wd, bush, camping fan, gotta say it says alot that someone like Ronnie really gets along with you fellas. Relationships with communities is precious and meaningful. Men passing through are judged by intent and character, not by their status, titles, looks or car they drive. Says alot boys, much respect to you all love what you do.

Guys, I don’t know if you have banger car racing in Oz but in the UK 🇬🇧 we do and what these boys do to stop the other car from tearing their tyre sidewalls is they cut a side wall off of an old tyre which they fit this on the outside of the tyre to eliminate a wall tear. I’m not saying it’s the answer to your prayers but if you did this to both sides of each tyre then just perhaps it might save you a lot of spare overall. Just a suggestion that’s all. Thanks for all your amazing videos 👍

Shauno, for your 1st aid kit I recommend some Stop The Bleed kit like Combat Application Tourniquets (staged correctly). Israeli Bandages, Celox wound packing, chest seals etc. Both in the Aid bag and as an IFAK. (If you chainsaw your leg, you ain't running back to Sooty for the CAT very easily!). Some Sam Splints, Strapping Tape, Trauma Sheers and survival blankets wouldn't go amiss too.

Thank you guy's 🙂 👋 I clicked on one of your random video's recently, and I love these mini series and this Channel. And I am not even, a 4WD person. But, I would love to be tagging along (I am in spirit anyway 😁 !!! ). Thank you for helping to relax my mind, during a very stressful and trying time for me. I have severe chronic pain, and am unable to work anymore. And have just lost my home of 10 year's, recently. And I am waiting, to find another one. I love, your combined energy, your banter, and your enthusiasm. Your obvious, genuine passion for what you do. Your courage, your comradeship, and your teamwork. You are showing me parts of my own country, that I have never even seen before. And would never, be able to go there myself. You are all, educating me along the way. By sharing your many combined year's, of 4WD driving and camping experience with us. Thank you for all of your time, efforts, expense, planning, and for sharing this with us all. Wherever, we all may call home. I just wanted to say, Thank you from little old me 😁 !!! I have never, owned a 4WD or even driven one, nor been with anyone whom does. It just shows how well, you guy's put these video's together. That you can draw in viewers, whom have never experienced a 4WD adventure like myself. Nor know anything, about the equipment and setups you have on your vehicles etc. A big acknowledgement, recognition, and well earned praise, for all of your camera crew. That trust in you guy's, and that follow you through everything you do. And they work hard behind the scenes, in the heat, in the dust, in the humidity, in the rain, and in the mud. Your creative camera shots, and the angles are truly stunning. And they capture those moments of untamed beauty, and vastness so wonderfully. And you allow the countryside, to clearly and simply speak for itself. And for your time then spent afterwards, editing, narrating, and for the end production. The end production, really is top notch quality. Camera crew, you guy's should all be very proud of what you do, too. You guy's, are mostly unseen and unheard. So you guy's, are equally important. And these adventures captured in these video's, and this Channel wouldn't exist without you. And your commitment, to giving us the viewer, a premium, enjoyable, educative, relaxing, and always fun experience 😊 So Thank you all of you guy's, for all of the times, that you have made me laugh and smile. When real pain, and the accompanying exhaustion drain me. And when the pain tries its best, to rob me of laughter and smiling each day. Anyway... I hope, that you guy's from 4WD/24/7 see this comment. And haven't minded, about the length of my comment 😉 😁 !!!!!! Melinda ~ From - The Southern Tablelands, in NSW ~

As a way for them to know, that what you produce on this Channel is worthwhile). Melinda 😊 ~

P.S. The country you are showing here, reminds me of my childhood / and teenage years. Of watching my favourite outback Explorer, at the time. Being the late and humble, Malcolm Douglas. I would always look forward, to when I saw his next trip being advertised in the TV commercials. He had an obvious passion, for Australia, for our wildlife, and for our fauna. He showed me, and he educated me. About things, I had never learnt about our country at school. I was very shocked and saddened, when I heard of his tragic accident. I connected with him, moreso than the late Steve Irwin. Malcolm seemed, a quiet man. And the simple and free pleasures in life, seemed to be enough to forfill and to content him. I would have loved, to have tagged along with him. Or visited his wildlife park, whilst he still owned and operated it. So... Thank you, Malcolm Douglas. I think the Kimberley, is where his heart and soul are truly anchored ⚓️ Hope you didn't mind me, talking about the late Malcolm Douglas. An Explorer and an Educator, to many generations of Australian's.

i surprised you dont have a premier power welder installed on one of the rigs. its a legit high-frequency welder you install in your truck. you can buy a spool gun to run it as a mig, or just run it as stick/arc welder.. ive watched rory @ trail mater on youtube weld several jeeps/trucks out in the middle of nowhere with it an get them back to the paved road. having a real legit welder on board would solve lots of trail fixes instead of junk straps an prayers .

This is my backyard, spent a lot of time at Grabite Falls and Boyd lookout when we were young blokes. We stupidly used to push big boulders off the Falls when it wasn't running, that was until one of the boys went over the edge with one. Luckily he got stuck in a crack and could fins his way back to the top. Safe to say after that day we stopped stupidly pushing boulders off the waterfall.

I stupidly didn't tie off my fan during deep crossing at Gunshot and drove the fan through the back of the radiator in my 80 Series. Didn't notice it till I could smell a really hot engine at Cockatoo Ck. Luckily it only added three days onto the trip to drive to Bamaga and get a new radiator flown in from Cairns. I say lucky because if had been a Friday afternoon, then I wouldn't be able to even order the part till Monday. When remote, it pays to take things slow and careful, real careful.

Hi Guys, love your videos. When you get a breakdown, if you need to weld something, get 2 or 3 batteries, connected in SERIES, ie, positive to negative, etc, to give you 24 or 36 volts, (use jumper leads) and then you can weld (helps if you have some welding electrodes on board) broken components to get you going. I had to use this system to get my Subaru 4WD wagon going again on Cape York track back in the 80's. I made it home. Hope this info gives you another option on your travels.

Great series yet again guys. Enjoyed watching your antics for a couple of years. Regretting the day I sold my 93 Hilux Surf/ Forerunner. I'm wondering though, on long trips like this, how much water do you actually carry? As you're always crossing rivers, don't you carry filter systems and stock up daily with enough for a day or two? For under 100 dollars, these filters will do 500,000 litres.??

Radiator problem. Try to seal off the leaking tubes with a pair of needle none pliers, before using a soldering iron to finish off the job. If you think that the repair is not perfect, leave the radiator cap unsealed, to reduce the pressure. Hope this helps. I have used this in the past, but not always with diesels, sometimes with my modified petrol engine vehicles.
