I'm not open Feel an emotion Put it away I can’t even tell you where I am right now ’cause I don’t feel light And she don’t feel right We shouldn’t be, shouldn’t be, shouldn’t be Here we are And I’ve already changed my face to show that I’m okay But I’m stuck sad and saying we can try it again, you’ve got your head in your hands. I am giving in You want to talk about, maybe that’s the reason I’ve been feeling out loud And it all comes down, we lost you, I think we’ll meet again I’m sure And it all comes down without you. I think we’ll meet again I’m sure I’m coping, taking emotion, put it away And I can’t even tell you how I feel right now Cause I don’t see a light and I don’t feel right We shouldn’t be, shouldn’t be, shouldn’t be Here we are And I wanted to change your name and she could have the same But I’m stuck sad and saying we can try it again, you’ve got your head in your hands. I am giving in You want to talk about, maybe that’s the reason I’ve been feeling out loud And it all comes down, we lost you, I think we’ll meet again I’m sure And it all comes down without you. I think we’ll meet again I’m sure Now I remember the words to the lullaby I wanted to sing to you Now I remember the way that I buckled Under the weight of a black balloon And it all comes down, we lost you, I think we’ll meet again I’m sure And it all comes down without you. I think we’ll meet again I’m sure

I had a miscarriage 5 years ago, also lost the love of my life 2 years ago, not from death, but from heartbreak.... this song sums up my feelings on both matters.
@danielilett6 жыл бұрын
I love this song. The true meaning behind it is so powerful, but I also have my own memories attached to it. I remember that this was the first song that my boyfriend and I danced to (no particular reason, but it was just what was on at the time). The relatively slow beat made it a pretty special moment for me. Now we've broken up, but I imagine the words "I think we'll meet again, I'm sure" to refer to us - maybe in time, we can go back to that original special moment.

finding out that this song was written about how his wife had a miscarriage changes the entire meaning of the song. the chorus is singing to the child he lost, saying that they're gonna meet later on

I drive 120 miles a day for work....my 16 year relationship just failed....and the road is the hardest place to be, you have all the time in that moment to dwell on shit. that's the point of this video, but if you've never felt shit on a long drive then you might not see the video as relevant at all.

This is the first song of Emarosa I've heard, and then they became my second favorite band, equally important as Breaking Benjamin. Thank you for your music. Clip is ok, remembers me of hundreds of kilometers I rode alone on my motorbike to the shore of the arctic ocean.

This is still the most underrated song of all time. “ now I remember the words to the lullaby I wanted time sing to you” “ now I remember the way that I buckled under the weight of the black balloon “ If that doesn’t absolutely rip your heart out you need to check your pulse.
@ethanhanks71507 жыл бұрын
Maybe it's because I have driven across the country when in a dark place, but I think the video was a great choice. You wouldn't believe the emotions you feel when you reflect on an unfortunate situation or deal with heartbreak in a new setting. Seeing a new sunset and waking up to an all new sunrise with a lot on your mind will change the way you think. You see what is real and what should really matter to you.

Yeah and they got sedan sized fucking tires on it no wonder there driving like barely at all honestly they made the car look so awkward compared to when I raised hell driving across the country in my bronco living between ATL and sin city…..jesus the MEMS🙌🏼😅 Looks like a 1979 tho you won’t find a single curve on that body. Don’t regret trading it in for my 96-4Runner SR5 with almost 500k (465k) on OG Tran+2.7L and will be the first SR5 on original trans to make the half a mill club and I’ll be the First Lady 💁🏻♀️🇺🇸 no regrats But this band is trash and I hate them and hate that they have sedan sized tires on a old school bronco no wonder he’s a douchelord put some respect on these names and these women

everyones complaining about the "lame car ride scenario" and how "it fails to capture the emotion of the song" the lyrics alone captures the emotion of the song. they could have just had a picture of a tree for a video and it would still reflect. you dont need a good music video to capture it.

Yea for sure. The song has a deep and emotional undertone and this video is just aimless. It has no real purpose and fails to capture the emotion of the song.
@erikschmehl99587 жыл бұрын
I think that the video is showing the journey of acceptance. Think of the road trip with friends as a means of telling those you love about what has happened and the journey with them Also, them stopping to admire the scenery could be synonymous with remembering key memories and then moving along. I think it's a beautiful video to the song, honestly.

The music video is funny because at parts he sings with such intensity but he just speaks the words in the video as if he's drooling.
