As someone who makes dresses, Etsy sellers are pricing way more reasonably than you think if it is indeed good materials and looks like the screen version. This dress are cheap and look like it (people forget how expensive fabric is cause it is, and that doesn't include cost of work)

that Marilyn dress on you is just EVERYTHING! As for dress zipping: I think it's really just about shoulder flexibility/mobility. If you can nail the Apley scratch test, you should be able to zip your own dress, otherwise I think it can definitely be a challenge!

I can easily do this test, but sometimes it is still hard to zip dresses. If it is an not that stretchy fabric, fits tight and the zipper is a little harder going, it can be really difficult to grab that tiny zipper and pull it all the way.
