As a professional baker, i’ve made a barbie cake like that before. A few tips for the next time, wrap the lower half of your doll in plastic wrap before you stick her in, less mess that way, also stick her in before you decorate the cake that way the bodice of the dress matches the skirt 😊

I’ve always liked American Girl because their dolls look like actual little girls instead of beautified versions of them. I think it’s really great that little girls (or boys ofc) can play with a doll that actually looks like an average child, I remember it being so much better for my body image as a kid and I imagine that’s still the same. Honestly nowadays that’s even more important for kids than it was when I was little.

Fun fact while your baking cupcakes or cake: If you don’t know if it’s raw or not try using a toothpick. Poke the cupcake/Cake, and if it comes out clean then it’s ready, if there’s still batter on the toothpick, then probably add more minutes for it to bake well.👍

What kills me is that Hope used the expensive pink Himalayan salt instead of regular ol' iodized table salt. Yeah it feels like a waste lol Fun fact, the reason that Iodized table salt came about was to help people avoid getting a Goiter. Iodine is essential to regulate your thyroid. It just goes to show that with the Toshiba Zune, Japanese engineering is superior. 😉 Also, I used to have one of the 1980's original Polly Pocket's. I think it was a sea shell? I was like 6 or 7? That's 33 years ago. Uuuugh I feel so old. -___- And the new Samantha doll yeah, her face has changed, it's not as long as the older versions, like she's lost her baby fat. I ALSO had a Rollerskate barbie. Oh man, I loved using her to set ants on fire. Our house was absolutely INFESTED. XD I had one really nostalgic toy, my mom got me a Wuzzle plushie. The cereals may have been discontinued officially, but they definitely bring them back around Halloween I’ve seen them recently. Maybe they just make them on a limited basis for Halloween.

I remember the rubber Polly pocket clothes I loved the sensation of squishing them. Who remembers the littlest pet shop? I had hundreds of them once I grew up I saw they changed their design quite a bit!

I don’t know much about Zunes, I never had one, slightly before my time. But the second Zune you had looks like it is particularly themed to Guardians of the Galaxy. As soon as you brought out the case I noticed the logo. (Big emblem on the front and also the background photo) Then all the ‘old’ music sounds like it might be all the songs from the movies (as you played Mr Blue Sky by ELO) which would be why they wouldn’t clear it before selling it. Makes perfect sense as at the end of the second movie the main character (Star-Lord) is gifted one and then has a significant importance for the rest of the movies. Makes me wonder if it is an original but either way it’s really cool and now I really want one! 😭

As an American girl, doll collector, and stop motion maker I was freaking out whenever I saw you hold one 😂 And Samantha’s outfit is not her holiday outfit. It is called be forever outfit all of the historical’s have one now and that’s what they come in. They don’t sell their old outfits anymore and that’s just their natural new outfits that they come in and that’s the meet outfit. I hope that explains some thing lol.😅
