Always look forward to your video's Keith...i thought your Groat was the best coin there m8 and i was trying to work out...where it was minted...that was a new one on me...very well found, there was no doubt in my mind that it was a hammered when it first appeared...nice to capture Gillian's joy with her first coin...it's all too easy to forget our firsts...& some great members finds, i like the Ampula and as you mentioned , it's not often the loops stand the rigours of time...well done m8 putting that together & i will se ya on the next, take care GL&HH Gordon.

Cheers Gordon. That video editing was quite involved as lots of transition to make it flow. Yes, I was inwardly thinking hammered groat but when on video I tend to hold back a bit till I'm sure. I've found a couple of groats and half groats before but this one was even darker and a bit greener in real life than when seen on the video. All good in the end though as any genuine errors or hesitaions make the story more down to earth lol. Cheers and ATB Keith.

Hmmm, very strange this Kevin, I just checked your art channel and even though I've been subbed to you for ages and all along have had the bell icon pressed, I have not been notified of your last few videos! Yes, I watched a popular artist on youtube the other day and he was saying how youtube /the algorithm has started to sideline art significantly, but more that they are only favouring the very popular stuff so that it’s not just art that is suffering. Apparently ‘shorts’ are becoming very popular too. It seems that everything is heading towards the instant, transient flash world and that the attention span of the masses is so small that that ‘should’ be the ‘popular’ way forward. Number of views and people watching the whole thing can then be maximised. Seems as if so many of these organisations have forgotten the point of doing anything.
