With our Baby Girl arriving any day now, I thought it would be fun to take Gideon out on a date for some one-on-one quality time! He is such a happy boy and brings a smile to everyones face!

You did good. You should consider getting him a little baby doll. It helped me help getting my son used to the new baby brother, he learned to give baby a bottle, cuddle, and when his baby brother arrived he was so happy. He thought the baby belong to him. So cute.

Joy, it's important to make the older kids KNOW they are important. I used to do this with my children. Once a week, I took one of the kids shopping or out to get dessert, etc. Sometimes it was just to take a Pepsi to the park and just talk. I know that Gideon is too small for the talk at the park, but you get what I mean. I love your videos and how awesome you and Austin are with each other!! Gideon is a cute little guy......you both are awesome parents! :)

300+people in my family with 3rd cousins and so I have been around HUNDREDS of babies, toddlers etc. (I may have the Duggars beat?😂) I have never, ever saw such a happy, giggly, adorable, loving kiddo as Gideon!!! I remember when you did a video after feeding he was maybe 3 mos old and you told him about going to see Daddy and he was sooo excited and happy and that gummy smile is something I will never forget but from birth he had a magical heart and spirit! I cannot get over this lil guy! He always is excited and shows so much gratitude!😭 I am over the moon seeing his photos and videos! I love him so much he is my all time favorite baby everrrr (sorry fam🤷‍♀️😂) The way you and Austin parent, love him, play with him, that is how a loved baby acts, he knows how to love so hard in return! He is such a gift to the WORLD, he is going places! He is so calm and chill he will surprise you I think when he gets to be big brother! I love this so much more than the show, which always cuts the interesting things out in favour of shallow trivia. I used to watch the show to see how good parenting is done, since a family of 19 kids were so well behaved and confident. But it would be all "we're taking a trip/doing a make-over/cooking." One time they showed Michelle sternly and calmly talking to Josie, who was very upset about a sibling getting something special. Michelle said that Josie should be happy for her sister, who will be happy for her when it's her turn. It was amazing to see Josie respond so well to the explanation, and I wished for more "real life" like that, but that was it.
