Hi Dr. Thank you for this video. I have a grade 4 Spodylo slippage at L5 which was fused about 38 years ago. This last year the pain has increased significantly. A myelogram last year showed that the fusion is still solid, but that I do have severe foraminal stenosis at the L5-S1 level. Am trying injections next month but besides that, what can be done with a more complicated case such as mine?

Thank you for the video. I had a spinal stenosis surgery 18 days ago . I had extreme nerve pain in my legs before and that was the main reason for the surgery. My doctor said that i have a hyper bulged disc as well , idk if its the aame thing. So , now 18 days later , im still recovering and im being very careful but the in my legs is still there and if not worse , it certainly hasn't gotten any better which really concerns me according to information given in the video... if anyone knows anything that can help ... pls

@Mo b Dick thank you for asking. It's been more than a year since my surgery now and im feeling a lot better. I'd say about 90 percent of the overall pain in my back is gone and i can feel that Im still recovering. But now i have a very serious arthritis problem in my neck and i actually wish i could exchange it with my back pain 😑. My doctor said that im just genetically meesed up in my spine and things will never be okay...

Is there a difference between a person who has spinal stenosis without a diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis and a person who does have this diagnosis as well??
@Soneelicious4 жыл бұрын
Ankylosing spondylitis is inflammatory spinal stenosis is caused by arthritis that’s a simple way to differentiate them also ankylosing can causing back stiffness but most spinal stenosis patients complain of shooting ish pain some people describe it as “sciatica”
