ikr! i was hoping to see more people come over from Alli and Datev's subscriber base, but alas it didnt happen. there was a bump but nowhere near what i thought it could have been, esp after seeing Datev's channel grow. there was never an "official" shoutout, just some short references here and there and links in the description. The links can be hard for mobile users to find, and people forget to check at the end of the video. I was hoping to see an annotation in one video while they were talking about this channel. it is so hard to get new subscribers now-a-days, esp for travel channels. Since annotations are so easy to use, most people are hesitant to go out of their way to find a new channel without seeing that annotation. they want to be told what to go and subscribe to and they want the link right there on the screen when they are being told. i'm not trying to bash alli or datev, and i hope it didnt come off that way. i liked everyone's content from the Fiji trip. i just hope that on the next trip they realize what needs to be done if they are going to try and help another channel grow.
