Everyone who hates this song will most likely turn out to be the EXACT kind of people in this video that Hopsin is warning us not to be. His message was spot-on. Society brainwashes us daily on how we need to look, how to be successful, etc. and the haters simply brush this off as "stupid" or "corny." So just open your eyes, open your mind, and FLY.

Don't let the comments on the video change your mind about the song. This song has a message America needs to hear. Those who say something negative about the song can't handle the truth. Those are the ones who are brainwashed. Don't be brainwashed by society, peer pressure or just to fit in with others. Be the one who is different and leads the way, showing the truth about how dark this world is and share this song with all of your friends and relatives.

Ya'll talking like real rappers aren't out there...Kendrick is pretty damn real, so was Tupac, so was NWA so many of the greats were. Hopsin's bars are just kinda meh, and corny...others artists have just been much more subtle and nuanced in their delivery, which makes them stand out.

But I don't mind, since his music is helpful in real life. I don't like how much he's against going to school, but I do agree that smart people don't really need to.

Every reason why I love Hopsin was just now put into a 5:28 song. Waka wanted to become President of the United States. I want Hopsin to become the President of the World. I'm glad I came across an artist that has nearly the same views that I have on life. I felt like all this time there was just a bunch of idiots like Tyga and Wayne whose only purpose was to brainwash everybody. Then came Hopsin, who is slowly trying to open everyone's eyes. Hopsin, if you're reading this, thank you for making REAL music. Thank you for giving meanings back to music like 2Pac did. Thank you for just being you, and for giving people who think like you and I an artist to look up to.

***** Wayne was dope back in the day though, you've gotta respect him for the shit he used to do. And Tyga's irrelevant. His most recent album completely flopped and got terrible reviews. To be honest, the biggest hip-hop artists are the more conscious, lyrical ones these days. I mean look at guys like Kendrick and Cole who are fucking superstars and are probably the best rappers out right now. Hip-hop is doing really well, Hopsin just isn't as good as his competitors. If this was 2007, back when Soulja Boy was huge, Hopsin would be the biggest rapper out, but there are so many other better rappers than Hopsin these days.

@joaquinvitela6149 6 жыл бұрын
polarnj I agree, it's become universal at this point... But you know what separated the message of Hopsins songs are? Because people like you and I can relate. He sympathizes with all of us. He's not enforcing any kind of change or telling you how to live your life. Rather he's simply explaining and breaking down our lives right now. I've seen many heros stand up for our freedom, but I believe Hopsins art form is the cure we need in this world, and all he's doing is speaking from the heart. To think something so pure can give us the strength to overpower the shackles we wear sounds near impossible, but I'm sure we all thought things seemed impossible at one point. Things become impossible when it's declared so, so are we just to accept that? No. Let's start brainstorming, connecting and confronting like a real democracy should. Idk this song might not be enough to everyone else, but Hopsins here as our light bearer, we just gotta follow the light. I think every humans capable of knowing what's right. Do we really need a higher power in this world to tell us not to fight?

people cared more about bruce changing his sex than akon supplying 400 million africans with electricity. its sad but these people have millions of twitter followers, the most popular Instagram pages, and people watch the show every day. the media is very much a big part of the problem but its the kids of today that make the decision to care so much about people like the kardashians, justin beiber etc.

Your truth. He is saying shit such as 'did the guy who invented college go to college?' - college and the education system we have today is important, he's trying to imply it isn't. It's what teaches people the skills that society needs in order to keep afloat and the more important your job, the more you receive (typically, musicians and actors etc are overpaid IMO). Whilst I agree with some of Hospin's work, this is mundane, simple and wrong. So, no people are not threatened by the truth, they are tired of bored ass 'intellectuals' who think they are above everyone else and have seen into the world, when sometimes the world is much simpler than people actually think it is.

Exact,y, and that chorus..... The verses were good, but not great, and the chorus is kinda crappy and then when you get to the robot voice it's just fucking crap. I usually somewhat criticize when rappers go and make songs with pop artists, but that would've been way better than this crappy chorus. He could even find a singer that wanted to share the same message, even if the singer is not famous. The singer wouldn't even need to be very talented, most would be better than this robotic shit. All of that being said, the message was fucking great, we need more of it.

For the chorus I was thinking of a female singer, but now I realized that Fort Miner would have be great for it ( he's the rapper from Linking Park, he's somewhat good at rapping). If you see Fort Minors Single "Welcome", where most of the track is closer to singing than rapping, and has tons if repeating lines, I think that his singing there would have been great.
