The chorus is amazing, Visuals are great, the project actually feeling like a project and having a theme is great. But music wise, there is something missing. I'm not an expert so take my shit with a grain of salt. Just nothing that says wow about the past couple songs to me. The relationship song was fire. Aside from the great chorus and rhyme schemes it was introspective, a cohesive story, with triumph at the end: trying to deal with a relationship in the midst of the project's story of trying to get his son and restore a relationship is a deep perspective as well. But to me imo, it seems like there's a lack of passion or something. Not to compare his old music to now because he are different man.. The point is in songs like “kill her” or “alone with me” or I'll mind of hopsin 8 he meant that shit. Where as some of these recent tracks seem more technical or "rappidy rap” for lack of better words. Rapping just to rap or something.. We all know he is top tier when rapping, it's just missing something. That's just my opinion take it, leave it, use it, who cares. Let me know am I tripping? Do I have a point?
