Good news guys. Band-Maid are doing a live stream crowdless concert on July 23 time still to be announced. thats when they would have been starting the Zepp tour in Osaka. also presale tickets for international fans for the Budokan concert for next Feb. have gone on sale on Band Maids website. Kanami recently said she was working on new tunes and the theme is evolution and music that appeals to people all over the world.

Line Cube Shibuya venue is only 2050. It looked bigger in the video. Miku said in an interview in Japan that they knew that 70 percent of their fan base is outside Japan.

Then its really silly, everything is still made for only Japan. They offer a lot just for Japan. fan club and shops. Everything in japanese. There is an international shop, but not much there. Most exclusive for Japan. They have chats, livestreams and much on Twitter, but they only speak japanese. I see article links on the facebook fan group...in japanese. Doesnt anyone of them know english enough, to share some in that too? I always feel...almost neglected. Hello, there are fans outside Japan! I know its not only Band-Maid that is the problem, all bands the same or even worse

BAND‐MAID will be performing live at Budokan in Tokyo next February 11. "Budokan" is an arena for traditional Japanese sports called "Judo", "Kendo", "Karate", etc. Another topic is that the Beatles Japan performance took place here in 1964. After this live show, many overseas musicians performed live. For Japanese musicians, performing live here is a top proof.

Budoh-kan the biggest venue in Japan. I'm Japanese and I'd never known or heard about them until recently which says all. KZbin is the best place to find the great band like them.

I really enjoyed that reaction and always watch till the end. I feel like I am late to the party with these incredible Japanese female rock and metal bands. It was only 2 weeks ago that I first saw and heard of Band Maid on KZbin. I can't get enough of them right now. I've watched all of your reactions to them, and its true they should be selling out arenas world wide. They are 5 ladies at the top of their game musically. Only Lovebites are in the same league as them, and their music is all killer and no filler. :)

Keep on rocking guys. For me. Band Maid keeps getting better and better. This song rocks, but it starts out with a little jazzy funk bass. I can understand these girls very well some in Japanese and the English is easy. Been married to a japanese lady for 40 years. I am hoping to catch them in Japan whenever they open up travel.

Guys! Greetings from Shizuoka, that little place in Japan with a little mountain called Mount Fuji keeping his benign eye on me over my shoulder! It is my first comment as your reactions are truly good enough not to interfere with. I just wanted to contribute another facet as I have lived two thirds of my life in this country and I am almost as old as Jimmy Page. They are actually bigger abroad than in Japan for reasons not evident to non-Japanese. -All female rock bands are considered a bit frivolous by the general public who never look forward to long careers from them. -The rock music world and actually the whole music world in Japan is dominated not only by males, but the same males consider all-female groups just as source of money to squeeze out quickly. They leave little freedom to the bands they are managing. This is why it took so long for Band Maid to break their shackles. Now, they are basically free to compose what they want, and they have changed to a new management who respect that freedom. To put it short, they are an exception which happens only once in a generation. Actually, Kanami has openly declared she will one day build her own recording studio and help new young groups, making eternal enemies of the establishment! Yes even in Japan women can break the house! Under their seemingly shy, unassuming and so polite demeanor, these girls are made of steel. Interestingly enough none of them came from Tokyo, so you can imagine the haughty looks they had to deal with from these "Tokyo bigwigs"! How BIG is Band-Maid?? I don't think they are "that" BIG in Japan or the rest of the world. However I do believe they make enough to lead a comfortable lifestyle.... if that makes sense. Before Covid-19 they would play almost every weekend (Fri-Sun, typ), and had some momentum internationally.

Seems to me they are a band that appeal to musicians, live rock enthusiasts and fans of Japanese culture in general. I fall into all these categories. It great to see your reactions to the music these young women make and to find that many of the points brought up are the same one's I think about. Keep enjoying the great videos of the show and Keep up the good work over there. It's all really quite good!!

MISA!!!! MISA!!!! MISA!!!!!!! Bass Assassin, all 5 musicians are very talented and their Live videos are better than their MV. Band-Maid is the best Hard Rock band out there today. They are not Metal. Reminds me of the great Rock in the 70's. They have only played at small venues outside of Japan but sell out every time.

Akane and Kanami, always leave you wanting more! I will have to make do with Miku, Misa and Saiki to fill the gap. Only joking :-) What an accomplished band they are. As you mentioned, whoever post produces the audio from their live shows, does it extremely well. BAND-MAID's got an international following.. i think any show they play in North America would likely sell out.. yet i'd still consider them a niche band. language barrier is still too much for a lot of people.. and probably the maid outfits too. no one i've introduced the band to have really latched on past 'hey they're pretty good' / 'whoa they can play'
