This Horatio Hornblower really is a HIGH qualtiy production in everyway. I don't know their budget, but didn't find cutting cornors. The stories, the actings, the props, all are prefect. You can say it's a feel good movie (mini series).

i dont know the budget from making the series, but i do know that the producers earned 20% of that Budget back after the first 2 episodes/parts was done. i got the full collection set and its 18,5 hours long and each episode is awsome in its own way, showing that if this show ever were to be remad in any way. they still needed atleast to watch the original and find the spark it gave out, Horatio Hornblower was by far 1 of the only shows of it time that i could never miss no mature what :D
