not too familiar with the brooks board. whats the main differences in the brooks board compared to stock board? any benefits?

Faster reaction times with the brooks board than the stock and with cleaner audio with the headset jack.

YESS!! the stock has a longer imput window than the Brooks.

For example if you have and old fight stick and your new custom stick with the Brooks Board play a Fighting game like Streetfighter and hook the Books up to player 1 and the stock one to player 2 go to a PvP match and pick Ken for example and throw the slow fireball with each and you will see exactly what i mean

You could have re-use the top panel buttons for your auxiliary functions (Share, PS, L3, R3 or Touchpad button). I've done that for Hori RAP N owners, that's quite easy. I've also installed a detachable cable on them.

I just finished a hitbox build with the Brook PS3/PS4+ (the green non-audio one), and luckily I didn't need to update my firmware either. I guess if you get a new board they put the latest update on there right out the factory. Those are some pretty heavy mods you did tho lol, I never seen anyone do the USB cable like that either.. but hey man as long as it works!

Yea ...but if you would like too update it now it gives a better response time to button and stick inputs...Also when i got MK11 it needed it

@@bigchopstherealoggamer1280 oh ok cool, didn't know that. I've only tried using it with SFV on PS4 and some emulators on Raspberry Pi so far. No issues with 8min timeout, but faster input response is always a good thing, I guess I should check if my board is actually up to date on the latest firmware.
