Excellent comments and very honest review!! Your right the paint on the tail binds the screws and plastic insert and doesn’t allow for smooth adjustment. But belt is tight enough so you’ll probably not need to adjust it anyways. Totally agree with you the quality of kit and parts is amazing. The power combo kit is a great value! I had one small problem my tail bellcrank was miscast and would not work and would bind the tail. Contact me and I can send you the part if you want to check it out. I had one of the first kits so maybe that’s it. Also please, please go over transmitter programming say for DX9. No parameters in instructions with the kit 😡. Overall like you super impressed with kit. Couple of guys at Chollas Flyers have them. Justin Coe really helped me set mine up he’s a total stud!

My tail servo also binds up. When I ran the 480 up with main blades on, it swung nose left with hardly any tail servo movement to compensate.

@@Thejasond1979 The bellcrank, is that at the tail rotor? Mine seems to bind at the servo itself, you need to input some pressure on the servo arm by hand to get it to move freely, my other servos all move easily by hand.

Mine was binding until I set the rudder travel.you must do that in the Beast x.

I know this is an old video but I hope you will respond. I just got to the main gear assembly portion and after getting it bolted up, the entire main shaft assembly can move up / down by about a sixteenth of an inch. Is that normal? Seems like it would vibrate like crazy and hammer the bearings. Seems to me that the bolt hole on the autorotation hub bushing is incorrect so the bushing doesn't fully seat against the lower block bearing. Either that or the main shaft hole is wrong. Should I try to shim it or send it in for a replacement? Thx.

Did I miss where you soldered the motor to the esc? I wondering if it would be easier to solder first and mount the motor and esc after.

Hi, I have just finished building my Fusion 480, and I have those two pieces of rubber (?) left, look in the vide o around 14:10. You can see them next to the servo's, above the instruction manual. I just don't see what is the use of these pieces, a hint anyone ??
