Could you just copy the folders from the Pc to your machine? Then you wouldn’t have to create duplicate folders and check every file to transfer.

Judy, I appreciate your question and hope to clarify a little more. You can't transfer the entire folder and its contents in one step. You have to have a folder created in the machine memory and then open to put files into. Maybe I wasn't entirely clear the point of this video is that in a situation like mine I had to have the A-board replaced on the machine. That meant that if I wanted to keep my stitch files for the future I had to remove them from the machine before the work was done. When I was getting ready for the work to be done on my machine a few weeks ago, I assumed that I would be able to just copy the folders onto a usb and that would be it. That's when I discovered that the only way to get the folders off the machine and into my PC was to use the Horizon Link process. Yes, there are various ways that we can save files that are on our machine into our PC; individually saving them onto a usb, or using the direct connect cable with Horizon Link or the WiFi being the most common ways. But we can't move the folders that we've created in the machine without using Horizon Link. (At least I haven't figured out a way to do so!) Back to your question, as I was trying to do this process I can only say the answer is no. You have to have a folder on both the computer and the machine sides created & open and then move/copy the files into it. During the transferring process, we can create folders through Horizon Link as well as directly on the machine. When we are copying the contents of the machine folders over to the PC we have to create the folders on the PC first, then move the individual files into those opened folders. Thanks for the question, and I would like for you to try out the process (Just for fun!) and see what results you get, if you find a way to copy the entire folder & it's contents in one step I'd like to learn how, I wasn't able to!
