Now that most of you have had a chance to properly conquer Horizon or at least explore its various nooks and crannies over several dozens of hours, what are some of the bigger secrets and Easter eggs that the world hides?
Rest assured that there are more than a few. Some are high, others are low and yes, plenty of them are associated with Hideo Kojima and the upcoming Death Stranding. Let's take a look at 14 of the more notable ones below.

i literally face tanked things with it lol. was a point that i survived a massive horde of enemies including 2 of the giant things that breathe fire/ice and like some stalkers or something(been awhile since i played the game since i beat it and had other things to play)

kidgrim there's a data note about the shield weaver that talks about the experiments they did with it. it noted that they improved all shields but the test subject fell and broke his legs or something. arms, torso, etc was rated 90+/100 but legs was rated 13/100 lol

The Shield Weaver armor doesn't make you invisible. It absorbs a large amount of damage before having to recharge. P.s. you missed the "Warm Socks" item you get from trading in all 3 stranded items. P.p.s. you can't get the stranded figure until almost the end of the story because the area it's in is inaccessible until a certain quest. After watching this video and actually completing the story i get a very strong feeling you didn't actually play the game but just snagged these things from other people online.

Roger Frantz II that's what I thought too, I get it that he may not know _everything_ about the game, but the difference between "invisible" and "invincible" is pretty big, especially when in practice, as it does not help your stealth in the slightest

This was a game I had to platinum. Most of the time I don't care enough to do it, but I really love the world that was created and knowing it's open for a sequel or at least some dlc action leaves me very happy.

I spent time in the military stationed around Colorado Springs. It was interesting recognizing certain landmarks included into the game, not only the Air Force Academy but the Garden of the Gods rock formations and other Colorado icons such as the Red Rocks amphitheater.

colin minhinnick Facial animations were pretty flat most of the time making Aloy seem, cold. Fighting was...there should have been a way to combo enemies. Not just two strikes. Men stand around doing nothing and females are noticeably more efficient and active in combat. Females also are more musular. Kinda sexist as no explanation was given for that. Story was fine, just predictable. I guessed the twist the first time I saw Dr. Sobeck. The villain for the sequel was setup wonderfully and the sybolism behind the lantern was a nice touch. It's a great game with a huge world, challenging fights, and lots to do. It's not perfect though. Frozen Wilds fixes some of these issues so there is hope for improvement in the sequel.

honestly the 'triforce' symbol is kinda a very standard symbol honestly. you can find it anywhere irl in logos and such. plus those symbols are drawn by a tribe of people that hold the machines in high regard and seem to know a lot more about the machines than anybody else while still being primitive (Besides the main character and a second character who I wont mention due to spoilers)

The Vantage point log for the Air Force Academy chapel states outright that it is THE chapel, in Colorado Springs. The vantage near Devils Thirst confirms that, as it's a high rise in Colorado Springs. Add in that the stadium is Denver Stadium, and you pinpoint All-Mother mountain as being Cheyenne Mountain.

Ok, so... I’ve played horizon zero dawn for a long time, I’m actually at my 3th new game+, and a found those two rabbits and I thought, die!! Both of ya, without scanning them... I would love to tell you everything I’ve experienced and spoil all the content of the story and totally ruin your hype of figuring out and experiencing the story fully, but I don’t have time for that crap... this entire comment is totally meaningless, and the only thing I was trying to take up was that I killed those two identical rabbits sitting right next to each other in the sacred land, by the first hunting ground you come across, and now I realize how weird I am for not being concerned about the two identical rabbits just sitting there doing nothing at all, not even running away if you scare them, no actually I did scan them, but because I’m so used to seeing “rabbit” when you scan a animal called a “rabbit” I didn’t realize that it said, well shit now I don’t remember the names of the rabbits... well you get my point, I don’t, if you do, then you have like 1000 IQ or something, I’m suprised that you’ve actually read all of this crap, but hell... Am surprised nobody has noticed a hidden detail during the fight with Behemoth at the arena after being captured by Helis and you had to retrieve your gear by making the behemoth destroy the pillars. After retrieving your weapons, equip the tripcaster and set lots of traps in the arena especially the middle of the arena. Kill the behemoth but leave some of the traps which carry on into the cutscene. Sylens comes to rescue Aloy and his overriden mounts jumps over your traps while the enemy robots and the corruptors gets blown up by your traps.

Another reference i found i dunno if you have mentioned it, before you go under the sunfall arena when they order you to go for a bounty after that talk there are people around there that will go and look for the bounty you can talk to them, one of them wears an eye patch made from wood, it is exactly like odin norse god eye patch, and he mention (marvel) word also his name is something like udurd or odurdn something like that, he is an oseram, they are two people standing in front of the arena from the room were they talk about the bounty

You can get the shield weaver armor early as soon as you become The Seeker. (Completing The Proving quest.)
