Just do all the sidequests before The Looming Shadow Main Quest. It's up to you if you kill Nil. You can kill Olin too, and still save his family. That's actually it.

All you have to do to get this trophy is make sure you do all story & side story missions. That's it, nothing else matters. If you think you missed something (as I did) after you finish the game - the game will reset till just before the last mission enabling you to be a completionist if you so chose. Enjoy this great game! (Z:BOTW doesn't compare to this!)

iTSmypartyiCRy2 there will be a side quest somewhere you have missed. The easy way out of this for you is before the final battle talk to all your friends and see who is missing. (check a walk through if nor sure who's missing) The old warrior that went to die fighting was the one who wasn't there the first time for me. Not sure if need to talk to your allies (reunion before final battle) as I did it regardless, so if your dead stuck do it anyway to rule out any ifs

If you decline the duell with Nil, he fight on your side if the machines ambush the city. But you can kill Nil (very hard), because he is not needed to get the trophy.

This isn't a missable trophy! Killing Nil doesn't effect the trophy progression. Complete all the side missions mentioned in the video and start the looming shadow mission again. If u have completed all those side missions then u should get the trophy after aloy wakes up from bed.

Once you complete looming shadow the world resets to let you still keep playing. After that figure out which quests you're missing and do those. Then start up looming shadow again.

I've started playing this game last month and got hooked om it right away. Like some comments on here, this is the only game I wanted to reach a Platinum Trophy. I haven't bothered with any other game, not even RDR 2 (still one of the best games I've played.) I'm currently playing HFB, and this game I am also trying to go for Platinum. I loved this game. The allies trophy ruined the platinum trophy experience however. I was missing one obscure trophy for Sun and Shadow, and Deadliest Game trophy never gave me credit after I finished the quest. I eventually got the Platinum trophy but I never got the joy of seeing the pop up notification. They should have just given a 0 out of 11 type of tally within the game so that you know how many allies trophies are left.

I missed out on 3 side quests and 1 errand, cause for concern and heap of trouble. Mostly because I wasn't paying attention to the quests tab and the map being so huge for me to visit every nook and corner. Fortunately, when I started looming shadow, the trophy popped up on my screen. I wasn't even aware of its existence! In open world RPG's, I like to complete the game by doing every single activity. Its tedious but it adds depth to the game. I purchased the complete edition a month ago. About two main missions left. Then I can start the DLC 👊

Everyone, killing or not killing nill will not matter, you are NOT locked out of the trophy

If you kill Nil you can still get the trophy. I got it with killing him. GG has also said on their subreddit that this doesn't affect the trophy.

Can confirm you can kill Nil. Still got the trophy. If you wake up and don't get the trophy you can just restart from save. It what's I did when I realized I missed one side quest.

I’m a little disappointed they didn’t tell us more about rost. I had a feeling he would come back missing an arm but I guess he really is dead. Or maybe they’re saving that for horizon 2. And when teersa says rost wasnt a seeker and we’ll talk about it later I was upset that we never did but again hey horizon 2 it’ll probably be in there

I got this trophy and I didn't choose ANY heart dialogues!!! But you have to complete those side quests and clear out the bandit camps. The worst 7 hours of my life.😳

I unlocked this achievement and spoke to nil. just did not accept the duel when he asked for it. And barely used “fist” dialog options entire game, mostly the “brain” one

I decline Nil's duel and he will join you as ally but Nil is not part of the trophy though

It doesn’t really matter if you kill Nil. All you have to do is complete all the secondary quest before the last main quest and it’s done. Ones you wake up yo get de achievement. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 good luck every one

Does it count if you do the quest with Nil, but choose the option to not kill him? Do I still get the trophy?

I picked brain for all dialogues and challenged him and still got it. I got platinum trophie.

Just do every side mission before the final battle. I did this the first time completing the game when I didn’t even know about the trophy lol
