Horizon Zero Dawn™ New Game+ Ultra Hard Final Boss Deathbringer Hades - info in description

The game set me up with n awfull checkpoint and i was tunning low on potions. This is the best strategy, KO him with shock blast then shoot out the crit spots. I shoulda used harpoint arrows sooner though.
B4 going to the final mission make sure u have alot of materials and health potions.

Did the Final Boss on Ultra Hard tonight as well. Found the Shock Bombs to be a bit less effective (though could be Mods for Shock on weapon lower than Fire on mine and didn't swap out), so used Fire Bombs and Piercing arrows...along with my Blast Sling which has uber damage on it. Took Deathbringer out at the 6:20 mark. Got the Trophy and Unlocks...so now Aloy can truly have the Mark of the Seeker.

If you have completed the frozen wilds DLC the Icerail is a life saver.My approach was icerail,some blast wires for the smaller machines that came and hardpoint arrows at the machine guns

Thanks man! This really worked for me, but i didnt get as close as you did. Completed it today! And unlocked all the Face paints and Focus elements. The variant C Focus i really love 🙂. Thanks agian 👍.

Really cool how everyone has their own preference of weapons to taking this down. I used terrablaster to get rid of the machine guns and cannons. Used the fire arrows to light it on fire and for it to expose its weak points and then I attacked that with metal arrows.

When i when this my time was 1sec LITERALLY!! Sticky BOMBS are the best choice you have, but ofc after you fire it up, or stuns it.

Great tip for the fight before this one in the cannon section, hide behind the large rock to the left and let the AI cannoneers soak up all the attacks and kill every beast even the Stormbird if you can remain hidden. It will take some time but it works on Ultra Hard :)

Fire arrows and normal arrows helps more but you need to upgrade its impact to enhance the damage!

Word to the wise. Make sure you bring more ammo than you can carry and enough resources to make thousands more else on ultra hard you just won't have enough ammo.

sorry but I have to disagree that stunning him is the best strategy. no element debuff is worth it to use against it. the best way to kill it simply use the best dps weapon you have like hunter bow

i been doing that and idk if the game fuck up but it literally doesn't do shit to it. but i change it to hard level and it was more than halfway there. like how does it go from not being hurt, to halfway there from ultra level to hard level.

Hunter bow is awful against this type of machine. You'll want to use your sharpshot bow and precision arrows, those are the ones doing real damage.

If you know how to dodge properly, it's not a problem. The slow notching and firing is worth it considering the insane amount of damage it can do.

Man I'm stuck in the same damn checkpoint but I don't have that armor.. So I have the deathbringer and the other machines and not that much protection. I've been trying for literally 20 times but still no result. Any suggestion?

spam fire arrows till it overheats, then hit those yellow things with hardpoint arrows bombs from the blast sling

I know you probably dont care anymore, but the Shield Weaver is probably the worst on UH The shield of it can only take one hit, so the range-defense armor /w range-defense mods wouldve been a better choice

nice. looks hard. im finding it difficult on the battle agains't the machines. i do fine until the stormbird appears. im on ultra hard same as you. any tips you can give

Well here is a good tip: get away from the platforms to the left side when the storm bird shows up and besicly hide behind the rocks there. Make sure all machines other then the bird and the 2 deathbringers r down. You can simply wait it out, you 'friends' will eventually kill the bird.

let me tell you what you did wrong in this fight: YOU GOT TOO CLOSE TO THE ENEMY! The best way to fight a deathbringer is from a distance, using the area cover to your advantage!

nah dude, u can side strafe and bait out the close range ground stomp and roll through the shock wave..manipulating him to do taht attack causes him to delay or not even do certain dangerous ranged attacks.

cali correa you will need to use the shock blast because it has a very high shock value and you can use mods to get it even higher. None of the other 'shock' options come close. In the video i use bombs to hit the crits but hardpoint arrows are just as good and perhaps more accurate. There are also players who prefer weapons with high dps and maybe that could be better. I'm sure a video is made with that method. I choose this method because it allows to control the fight much more.
