They took the hardness out of Rost. I don't like that. That man is old and jaded after everything he went through, especially with what he did (if you know you know) leading to his Outcasting. Asides from that, the removal of the gray from the beard is just a general loss. He's old, yall, not in his early to mid-30s.

No they didn’t they actually improved the cutscene here. He looks younger here because he’s supposed to be. This is when Aloy is still a child. He looks older and more grizzled once the youth arc is over

Shadows are also better in the original and it feels more natural . Pause when the video shows Rost in the remaster he is like plastic

Ive never seen the two compared before and I literally was wondering if you swapped the PS4 and PS5 tags because the PS5 retouch looks absolutely horrible in comparison. All the colors are completely washed out and make things look blurry

this is not best comparison tbh. Rost has been made to look younger and the black beard doesn't reflect his hard life experiences.. when Horizon are looking to be a long term franchise they no doubt needed to upgrade a 2017 game. .. certainly the encounters with npcs look very odd and jerky these days

The more i see this videos the more i see how much better the original looks . Original better shadows and light , more natural , cold feeling like US or Europe and some times better graphics as well pause 0.13 . Remaster . Better water , forest sound , over saturated , green neon grass and plants worst fog , tropic´s feeling and a plastic Rost
