This comes with the price of sore thumb and wrist. Just a tip for u guys trying it out. I found it easier as you jump, you use L2 and it gives you the aiming slow-mo. When i began using it, it took me 2 minutes vs the 20 mins of me not using it. Also pay attention on the rock he indicated with the focus for the stepping stones and the jumping angles just when he gets it up there on the video. Step on it precisely and get the angle with the slow-mo. Should save you more time i hope.

​@@anonymous7139 The thing is the game actually becomes more fun after you get the armor. It allows you to do more stuff and explore more rather than just focus on main storyline. You can say it makes the game easier but you STILL DIE A LOT if you're playing on higher difficulty, so you don't become invincible.

Oh my god!!!! Took a good 15 maybe even 20 mins, tried all options, crouching, slow mo, but regular jumps slightly to right to jump then left from the small rock sticking out, eventually got the second lift up and in..... Glitch still going strong 19/3/20

As of 3/12/2023 this still works. I have the shield weaver armour even though i have this as a quest 💀 but yes just do the jumping and try and climb up by doing it, it does work still it took me like 30 seconds without slow-mo

2/16/18-Glitch still works! Jumping while crouched came in handy. Also, jumping in slow-mo w/rope caster equipped helped out. I didn't want to wait til almost the end of the game to get this armor. Thanks!

5/8/2017 I got up just now using this. toom about 5mins. use focus, look up and be prepared to keep pressing the jump button for a while lol. your a legend. i didnt want to go through the game stories without the best armor. Not sure how long i got left, but i stopped doing missions on the 4th cell as soon as i got it. thanks again.

Still works in 2/14/2022! This way is much easier than other methods I’ve seen using a strider to jump up on the right hand side once you make it all the way to the top before taking the left you took in this vid. One tip for the jump part is to spam x and to jump in a front facing position to the rock slightly poking out. As in a straight line up rather than moving a zig zag like pattern up the wall. Did this in a few seconds!

Worked 7/28/17, thanks man, definitely did not want to wait till almost end of the game to get this. I tried the jumping 2 days ago for about forty five minutes straight, thumbs broke off. I just tried again today, within 5 minutes got up on that ledge, phew, on my way back to pickup my armor. Thanks again.

Dude thank you my fellow glitch Gremlin. I stumbled upon this area without knowing that there was a quest for it. I'm already level 50 so the storm bird was a piece of cake on Very Hard. That part where you had to jump on the wall had me confused till I looked at this. Got it down in a minute. So again Thanks and props to you for getting the ancient armor so early in the game. The map shows that you made a beeline for each power cell which was funny.

Works! It's hard, but it's a matter of time before you get "teleported" on the higher rock. What is not in the video is that by going up the cascade into the GAIA plateau there is a small cinematic and then you will engage a Stormbird, and you cannot avoid it. Trying this at too low level, you will die of the shock hits. A shock resist armour and potion is recommended. Don't try to kill the bird, just run off towards the entrance.

Worked great 070517. Took about two minutes. I found jumping a smidgen to the right then a smidgen to the left lifted me right up. Two small steps -- up-up-over works. Also pay attention to where the power cell is; got lost and had to watch the end of the video again to actually find it. Also, missed the one at the top of the tower but easy to climb back up to the very top and get it. Also, got locked out of the gate at Mothers Mark but watched another KZbin video to get back in. There is one very small opening to get back to Mothers cave but it works. Got all three power cells, got the weave armour and only half way through the main quest. Hopefully should make further battles a little easier. Thanks again to these guys for the GAIA prime trick. Hope they don't close down this glitch.
