Thank you for sharing and i can 100% relate to the content of this video 😭We received our mortgage offer the end of May and the solicitor is taking their own sweet time to assess our source of funds and they literally replied my email once a week with one further question!!! Our developer pushing for exhange and I am so worried we will lose our plot! Its beyond frustrating! Do you know if the conveyance solicitor will also do the AML check on the funds which will NOT be used to support the purchase of our house? 謝謝🙏
my English solicitor in England asked me for a translated bilingual bank statement, yes English is one language in the document. I sent them an email detailing how to read an English bank statement, they soon signed it off.

Hello. I have first hand experience. I chased my lawyer until the last week (date of hand over ~ Friday) I only got swift info on Monday. I was so stressed. They gave me so much excuse about delays me didn't forget about me etc… 感覺發癲。 Notorizaton was hell too because I am in Macau and English is not a state language. Had to pay more etc… I think the worst is communication from the lawyers. Very minimal, long distance phone calls to no reply etc…. Very frustrating standard of service compared to Asia. I know and expected the differences but to experience it is so screwed up!
