Great review of this new mini truck. It almost makes me want to pick one up, but I'm old and picking up trucks hurts. I wonder how fast it is, will you make another video of the Mini 8ight-T running? Again great review Sir!

Very cool. I've always been more into trucks than buggies and while I liked the Mini 8 I'm far more excited for the Mini 8T. I'll have to pick me one up for sure, does anyone know of anywhere that has a race bracket for these. I think that would be awesome, my sight isn't all that great and a scaled down track for these scaled down mini's would be a lot of fun. I struggle to judge my truck on the big 1/8th scale tracks. I hope the price is reasonable on them.

Hi Love this ! Any chance you are bringing out other colours like the mini 8 ? Like the Black and Yellow scheme ......that would be a major selling point for newbees like me who have no idea how to paint a clear shell !! For me I cant decide , its this or the V Glamis Uno/Fear ??

I can't keep diffs healthy..I've shimmed them..tried using different weight oils..what else can I do..the original motor was getting too hot..I've used velineon motor and esc..running 2s 25c Traxxas batteries..please help..I've ever put so many extras in this rc

Would a new center drive shaft and top plate remedy that, sorry to bug ya, not goint for the truggy just want metal chassis thanks again

Not bugging us at-all, this is why we're here! While a new center driveshaft and top plate would help the bodies would be too short too.

ive had issues constantly with the diffs..breaking teeth..im running the velineon 380 on 2s with robinson racing spur and pinion..what can i do to help these diffs?

I want this, with rims dyed orange and Proline Cliber tires... those are working out nicely on our 1/16 MERV. How would this compare to the MERV in size? We've got a small track we made and my son has the Traxxas Mini, he races neighbors with mini summits and it's too small for my 1/10 truck. We hope to build a bigger track someday, but for now the minis are the hit for us. I'm thinking the Mini 8ight T is what I need.

I've never heard of that truck, sorry. This is slightly smaller than a 1/10-scale 2WD buggy wheelbase-wise if that helps.

Mini E-Revo..... how would this compare to the Traxxas 1/16 Mini E-Revo for size? Our "MERV" has 1/10 2WD buggy rear tires, which makes me think this is much closer in size than the mini 8ight buggy...

Isaiah Furrow AH! I had never heard it referred to as the MERV but it makes sense now! You can use buggy tires on the Mini 8IGHT-T so it is bigger than the Buggy. I think, and this is going off memory, the Mini 8IGHT-T will be slightly wider and longer but the MERV will be taller.

Not sure, I'll be getting a good look at the truck over the next 10-days or so (I hope) and that is one thing I will investigate.

The spur gear is sealed now so no rocks or debris should be able to enter it. Beyond that I don't know of any other spur gear issues personally.

Joe Guinness The Kemora and Kalahari both drew design inspiration from the Mini 8IGHT, which the Mini 8IGHT-T also does, hence the similarities in the appearance. However there are a ton of differences between the Kemora and Kalahari and the Mini 8IGHT-T.

This use standard 2s 1/10 scale lipo batteries? I only use ordinary 4s and 2s hard case car batteries.. I don't want to invest in something that use batteries I don't already have..
