Love the footage & the awesome slow motion shots. The boat handles really well in that type of rough water. The best feature is the self righting, a must for anyone . Beginners will enjoy the fact you don't have to bring a retreave boat. I run nitro & gas, no electric. This would be the boat to buy. It's ahead of all other rc electric boats.👍👍👍👍👍

The first boat i got was the Zelos Twin and it was a lot more fun than i had anticipated. It made me want another and was gonna buy a Sonicwake v1 for my brother and I. I seen the price of the Zelos twins price was reduced. Was a week after i had got mine. I paid $588 for mine and got my brother his for $399. Then a little bit after i seen they were discontinued. I still wanted the Sonicwake but it was on backorder. It was on and off backorder and either i had just bought another RC when it wasnt on backorder or it was on backorder when i had the money for it. Eventually (about 2 years later) when they come out with the V2. I really need to stop buying everything else and just get the Sonicwake already. Lol.

Way to choppy for that boat for all out speed but the fun you can have in those waves will be awesome. Boat runs great & the self righting is the greatest thing for a mono. Glad you all had fun

Every RC boat should be self-righting. Big ones could do it with a switch to open a hole, so they don't have to have the awful looking gangsta lean when idling.

Would you suggest a 120c battery vs a 100c battery?? Would their be a noticeable difference?? The 100c battery I’m looking at is 8000mah, the 120c battery is 6800mah. Thanks

hi awesome vid...how many mah in those 3 s batts ? and how many running mins ? are you using the stock prop ? any heat issurs in the 120 amp esc using 6s ?

Hey Eduardo, we were running 2 3s 5000mah Smart packs. It was a cool day so heat under the hood wasn’t too bad, especially with the new dual pickup cooling system so both the ESC & motor have their own water source. We were able rip wide open for about 5 minutes straight on each run. Stock prop - it was pretty beat up before we got to it, and it still performed pretty great.

@@ProbablyRCVideos hi pete..so you were runing total 10.000 mah and it gave you 5 mins running time( running it hard..).and no heat issues with the 120 amp esc ..if i change the esc for the 160 amp firma and use 2x 4S 8000 mah batts..total 8S will the stock 1900 kv will handle it ?

​@@eduardonessim4499 The stock setup, including the motor is only rated for 6s - but i'm also no motor guru. I do see that the 8s ESC is listed as an optional part for the boat so you never know, Product Support may have some additional info for you?

@@eduardonessim4499 Dont think the stock motor can handle 8S without getting too hot. I have the V1 and the motor gets hot on 6S and Ive had the motor wires get so hot the solder connection failed. Unless the new Spektrum motor is capable, I wouldn't recommend it. May leave your self having to rescue the boat because it shuts down.
