The E-flite Super Timber 1.7m is equipped with a long list of “super” details that make it the most feature-rich and capable Timber yet! Starting with inflatable tundra tires and unique beadlock wheels mounted on heavy-duty articulated and shock-absorbing landing gear that are angled forward to help prevent nose-overs. It’s the best and strongest landing gear that’s ever been installed on a Timber model to deliver maximum durability and STOL capability when flying from almost any terrain! The optional-use slats can be clipped into place without the use of any glue, then can be removed and even reinstalled in seconds. All the LED lights you’ve come to expect are there, along with additional position and landing lights for added visibility. The horizontal stabilizer halves snap into place, plus the plug-in wing panels featuring hands-free servo connections are secured with innovative wing lock mechanisms so no fasteners or tools are required to install/remove them. There’s even a custom-designed clip in the fuselage that holds the wing joiner tube so you never forget it when the wing is removed for more convenient storage and transport! The digital, metal-geared servos deliver precise and reliable control of the oversized control surfaces for added authority, including flaps that can travel both ways for additional capabilities such as optional-use full-span ailerons.
A specially tuned motor is matched to an exclusive 85-amp Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC that can provide a variety of real-time power system telemetry data with Smart and non-Smart batteries via compatible receivers (including the AR637TA installed in the BNF® Basic version) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters. The BNF® Basic version is equipped with an AR637TA receiver to provide full-range, real-time telemetry data, including overall battery voltage, ESC temp, and more - plus motor/thrust reversing for special ground handling and other capabilities - along with the benefits of AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies. The Super Timber 1.7m also features a large top hatch for faster, easier battery changes using a quick-release, multi-position battery mounting tray that fits most 4S to 6S 3200-5000mAh batteries. You even have the option to install floats (sold separately) to fly from ponds and lakes! Please release licensed scaled Cessna 182. Their are a lot of folks who love scale flying. 1.3m to 1.5m HH has released Cherokee and a Cirrus. Why not Cessna?

Hi HH team, First, thank you for your response. It was not about what was released today. I think Super Timber looks fantastic! Also, it was not about what your team releases yearly. I merely wanted to recommend the HH team to consider a very scaled Cessna. I own the umx cessna that was released years ago, and it turns heads all the time.

Many say its just another Timber but I love this one already and I cant wait to see the next version. Timber is like my old friend and Iam always happy to see it in any version. Cool. Right in-between the 2m SWS and the PnP 60" Ultra Stick. Bit of a shame the BNF didn't come with the AR8360T. Just a few mods needed to get the wing setup like the Stick.

Ya its a Timber. I get the Timber overload. HOWEVER.... I have 5 foster kids that keep bugging me to let them fly my 3d planes or EDFs. I don't feel that they are suitable. I keep thinking I need to get a trainer type plane for letting others fly on a buddy box. So..... I pulled the trigger on this!! I had the original Timber and wound up selling it cuz I was a little bored with it. This looks like it will be interesting enough for me AND can be tamed down enough for newer pilots. I LOVE IT!!! Cant wait til it gets here.

Will you ever make a Valiant 1.3m V2? It's an excellent flyer! It would be amazing if it had top hatch, lights and easier wing attachment. The wing profile is great too, it flies inverted without any problems. The new Decathlons has a flat bottom wing, making the inverted performance meh.

@@HorizonHobbyProducts thanks for responding. All you guys focus on are the small umx planes. You guys have not released a good jet in over a year. Yes the umx f86 is cool, but that’s not a real jet. Neither is the sr71 with no retracts, rudder, etc. I loved the 80mm f18 but you guys discontinued it after 2 years. Cmon guys!

Except this model costs $400 including all of the electronics AND it's mostly factory assembled so it can be ready to fly within 15 minutes of opening the box! You'll pay that much for an Extreme Flight ARF, that much again for all the required electronics (now up to $800+ total), then you still have to spend 10-20 hours assembling it. Your comparison seems a bit ridiculous...
