If there's a problem with your gear Product Support really needs to see it first-hand to test, verify and replicate the issues to try to come up with a proper solution. As I mentioned I have seen many people race with the RTR radio and receiver without issue, but without seeing your gear I don't know what it could be.

I have a DX4C Transmitter and I am trying to bind it to a sr201 receiver. But it will not bind at all. The light on the receiver will flash like its supposed to while in bind but when I go to bind on the transmitter the light just goes out and will not bind at all. Please help a guy out been trying this for 2 days now and nothing.

Johnny, all Spektrum transmitters are on the 2.4GHz band. Every time you power up it changes to a different channel after scanning the band for an open one.

Thank You for that answer.. I noticed that there were some brown id numbers in my frequency settings.. No biggy.. I went 2.4GHZ across the board.. Guess that was a correct choice :D.. I have a new small issue today now that I've done the complete strip and rebuild. Is the LED light on the SR3300T supposed to be on? Mine is yellow.. This is how I have my receiver set up so far.. I have my 6v, 5cell, 5100mah Nimh battery plugged in the BND/RS port. I have my steering in the steering port and throttle in the throttle port. I have my RPM sensor in the RPM port. My temp and lap ports are open. I have the sensors but haven't installed them yet. My aux is open as well. I am getting my truck ready for this season's opener in Tillsonburg, On. for the Canadian 5ifth scale SuperCross Nationals starting the 16th of April, 2015.. I will be installing a MYLAPS RC4 Hybrid transponder on my truck as well and was wondering how to correctly install that since the lap port is regulated at 3.5 volts, would I just plug the transponder in the aux port? @latexink I guess the assumption is that you have reverse disabled and the ESC set for Forward-Brake only. You make a great point though, if you have reverse then setting to neutral would be a better choice.

Yes, all Spektrum receivers include the bind plug if it requires one (The SR3000 and SR3001 use a bind button)

The ESC will provide power to the receiver and the servo.

You can only use air transmitters with air receivers and surface receivers with surface transmitters. The only exception is the Marine receivers which can be used with Marine-compatible surface or air transmitters.

I don't know as we only recommend using genuine Spektrum receivers with Spektrum radio systems. The LSR-3000 will be compatible with the SR300, SR3000, SR3001, SR3500 and SR3300T as those are DSM receivers. It is not compatible with DSM2-equipped receivers.

The ESC will provide the voltage needed to run the electrical system without the need of a separate receiver pack.

It wouldn't hurt to try but it should work as I have seen many people race with the RTR Transmitter and SR300 receiver. You might want to give product support a call and see if they can help you out.

The original DX3R did not have integrated telemetry. However the DX3R PRO does and will work.

@crazybearrc Simply hook everything up as you would normally and, before turning the ESC on or connecting the battery, plug the bind plug into the bind port. From here, turn on the ESC. The LED on the receiver should begin to flash. Once it's flashing put your radio into the bind mode and it should work without a problem.

3 I'd recommend. The DX3S comes with the telemetry-equipped receiver out-of the box and is the lowest price of these three I'll mention. The DX4S is our newest radio and includes the new DSMR Protocol. The tried-and-true DX3R PRO will be the most responsive radio out of these three. Now the DX4S and DX3R PRO do not include the SR3300T telemetry-equipped receiver so that would be an additional cost.

Make sure you don't have the polarity of the plugs reversed. I have never had an issue with the 3300T binding to the DX3S

It's a Trackstar 45a ESC. Thanks for your reply, but I got it to work today :D For some reason I just had to stand around 5meters away from my car and put my DX3C behind my back lol. All my TX settings were neutral, I just had to distance my self away from the car. Who woulda thunk it :P

@crazybearrc Couple things. First instead of cutting the receiver's case you should have removed the tab on the plug itself. That would have been the optimal solution. You can use a receiver pack to power the receiver during the binding process if you'd like otherwise just use the ESC.

Any surface receiver with Spektrum DSM, DSM2 or Marine technology. The only 2 "surface" receivers that the DX3R PRO won't work with is the SR410 from the DX4S and the old "Bot" receiver, BR6000.

Losi Mini-Late Model. I used that since it has a Losi MRX-3000 DSM receiver.

If you're using a DX3R (or one of the new SPM3140 DX3S' or sent yours in for upgrading) I would use an SR3520. If you don't have one of those radios then you can only use the SR3500.

You have the steering servo and ESC plugged into the wrong channels. The steering should go into Channel 1 or the channel labeled S and throttle goes into channel 2 or the channel labeled T.

Which Micro are you speaking of? A Losi 1/24-scale or 1/36-scale car or truck? If so then yes it will.

Hi sr 3300t and I've just fitted a kills switch to my Losi 5t. When I switch the power on the receiver flashes but nothing works. So I then unplug all the servo leads etc and re plug, now the receiver does not flash when I have the throttle cable in, I unplug it and it flashes... Still nothing at the controller. Do I have to re bind? And can I rebind with a new lead cause I've lost my old one.

@hbthebajabasher Failsafe is set when you bind the receiver to the transmitter. So let's say you have a nitro truck. After you go through and have your steering and throttle trims set properly, your servo reversing is set, etc, go and re-bind your vehicle while holding full brake. What this does is if you happen to lose signal it will drive the throttle servo to the full-brake position, bringing you to a stop.

I'm 13 and need help with my MRX-3000 reciever. I recently upgraded to a Castle Creations Mamba Max 2200kv motor and ESC for a 1/8 vehicle and my transmitter and receiver suddenly have a dratically shortened signal. Im lucky to get about 5m befor the car looses all signal and rolls away. I have no income because Im not old enought to work and I love the reciever and transmiter alot.
