Finally got around to building the overarm support for the Schaublin 13.
The cutter you see at the end is 5/8" wide, 18T, ~3" OD.
Cut is 5/8" (16mm) x 0.4" deep (10mm). ~60 RPM @ 0.5 IPM.
I was scared.

I've watched this at least three times. I swear I haven't seen anyone who can manage to pull off the range This Old Tony does. From something that legit could be in an art house film festival, to the good natured snarkiness that is Lathe Leveling, to the satire of Origins all that AND I learn something every single time. Bravo, man.

Me- "Damn I wish I had this man's shop!" (Sees large drill bit) Me- "That bit alone is probably $100. Gonna have to stick to woodworking." To be completely honest, it would be a huge disservice to your shop if I did have it. I'm constantly amazed by what you can do and never knew a lot of it was possible with the tools you have. Hell, I never knew a lot of those tools and accessories even existed. I enjoy watching you work though!

Very clever way to pull off that head. Most of us would have just yanked it off of there and dropped it on our foot to cushion the landing.

The rest of KZbin ruined KZbin, This Old Tony merely avoided making his videos (nOT CLiCkBAiT) PRANK!!! (GonE WrONg) (GoNe SeXUaL) (CONfesSiOn) (NO DrAMa!) For which I am extremely grateful, this channel remains a beacon of hope, not only that quality content still gets made, but that the communities this type of channel (Abom79, AvE, ClickSpring, Applied Science, GreatScott, etc) bring together are so healthy; they're supportive, inquisitive, accepting and there's no hatred in the comments. Really glad you guys are here. Thanks both viewers and creators! Also Tony, if you're reading this, could you share your bronze recipe? I've tried it a dozen times and I keep getting brass.
