Just shot all the shells that’s been in my home defense shotgun for 7 or 8 years. No issues or power loss! I love this ammo! Even though any 12 gauge ammo will be devastating in close quarters like a house. There’s really no need to overpay for “special” shotgun ammo, dead is dead.

9 ball ammo tends to have 1 off pellet, meaning 1 tends to go astray, thus the 8 ball configuration.

Good review but I haven't found one on the flight control Federal stuff yet? I was lucky enough to be able to buy a case of the LE-132-1B fifteen pellet flight control load. I shot one at a 55 gallon barrel tonight, thirty yards with a Mossberg 930 tactical shotgun. ( Thirteen inch pattern ). That is what I want from buckshot. All of those pellets you've shot that completely missed the target , your responsible for. I want to know where mine are going.

Absolutely buddy - couldn't agree more. Many people don't realize this, but there are several recorded incidents of a single stray pellet hitting an unintended bystander and wounding them fatally, which equates to an involuntary manslaughter charge and all but guaranteed jail time, which is something we all want to avoid at all costs. 👍

I couldn’t possibly say what the best self defense load is. But I can say my personal favorite so far is Remington express buck shot. For the price and the performance it’s hard to beat. But this is some mighty good stuff too. Thanks for watching.
