The ELDM and ELDX bullets are great! These will be a nice addition.

I can't believe you haven't included a 7mm, 180 grain long range target projectile in the Areomatch line.

Definitely going to give these a try! My current rifle/barrel prefers the 140gr and 144gr Bergers over the 140gr ELD-Match, but I'm almost out of my 500rd box and might grab one of these and to see what I can do with them!

Question for the podcast. What is the differences and the advantages to the eld bthp, eld match, aero match bullets. Seems like the eld bthp and the aero match are almost the exact same?
@chasehunt64973 ай бұрын
I’ll just tell ya. Hornady BTHP uses secant ogive similar to the ELDM. it’s what Hornady has used for awhile now in their match stuff. The aeromatch is meant to be a Berger and sierra replacement. Uses a tangent profile in the 308 stuff and hybrid ogive in the 6 and 6.5

Can I ask when these will be included in 4Dof?
@allentrevino39162 ай бұрын
So, for say 308, this is your version of the SMK? What happened to the ELD-M, ELD-X, A-Tip, and ELD-VT? Why not just make more of those so we have them to use instead of an SMK twin and leaving the others in scarce supply?
@tommyeliasson70673 ай бұрын
65-70gr 6mm FB and BT bench rest bullets? If you could make them with the same or better performance than Berger 65-68gr offerings there would be tons and tons of these bullets sold each year. A really good 68gr BT Aero match or ELD Match kind of bullet would be great in the line up 🙏

Are these copy of Lapua Scenar OTM ?
@brettwing73718 күн бұрын
So are these copies of other manufacturers? .22 69gr and 77gr are copies of the SMK. The 140 gr being a hollow point would be a copy of the Berger vld?

How about invest time in stocking shelves of the ammo you already have! I like hornady but every year it's a new bullet, new bullet but can't ever find it.

@@SpudOutdoorsI agree the 6 and 6.5 look like Bergers. But the .223 and .308 look like dead ringers for SMK's. They do mention two different types of geometry. What I didn't get is why they'd use the same name for 2 geometries? Maybe they're losing their touch?

I like the claim that you dont even have to change die or powder settings. Lol. My last batch of 178eldm, I couldn't use the same die setting actoss the box of 100. Base to ogive was all over the place. I've had the same problem with the 7mm 150 eldx.

I love you guys, but I gotta say that it would be nice if you would just offer existing bullets in case quantities! I'm kinda sick of the 100 count boxes. I've shot at least 2500 80gr ELDm bullets this year and I would really appreciate the reduced packaging. You already offer 88gr ELDms in 3,500 count cases, what's the issue with doing it for the 80s? Also who was looking for a 77gr bullet that has a lower BC than the 75gr. BTHP you already offer?

These look good and interesting, but: 1 I'm no precision shooter, l dont do prs, or go for extreme groups. 2 l stick with the more basic loads, 223, 308, 3006, 6.5 cm. But all that said, while l like that all of these offerings are in my preferred calibers, l would like to see 120gr 6.5. My rifle shoots decently with 140 eldms, about 1-1.3moa. But with 120 ttsx, it has shot about .6. I know barnes makes great stuff, but l think it's the light bullets my barrel likes.
