Hi ,I use a rubber mostly, and also meths and a rag, which clears all the oil up ,also important to clean the points,on the contact points in the switching part,.if you run Hornby track like me,there is a small contact point which connects under the rail which also need to be clean,

cheers Trotski, nice to see the trains running again. how often do you need to clean the track and of so what methods do you use? reason I ask, I had some running problems recently, I normally go round with the track rubber but still had some issues. I just recently tried the track magic and all my running issues have gone, seems to be good stuff. 👍
