Enjoyed your presentation. Received today my loco at a cost of £185 including post. Fitted the sound version of HM7000 and the loco is a treat to watch and hear. Hats off to Hornby for this amazing model.

I ordered Lord President from Kernow,but although the box said as such,inside was Thane of Fife.I didn't even know it was being made.Great review of a really rather nice model,Hornby at their best again.

No the speedo drive is on the correct side of the loco. Why the A1 society have changed it would be to meet modern standards for the railway.
@bluebellModelrailway11 ай бұрын
I had it confirmed it is on the wrong side .. the A1 trust has confirmed the model is incorrect as shown on the CADs The tender is also incorrect on the partitions which are too high.

@@bluebellModelrailway That's odd as photographic evidence clearly shows the speedo drive on the right hand side and the brake drive rod/lever on the left. Of course this is on the original loco's.

@@charlesemerson6763if I could put a laughing emoji I would.. However, to help you, CADs, and video footage stills. The lubricator and speedo arms are on the left drivers side. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1AaGFxbUi9_DMQEnY0QqSH_GyZPpwwJla
