@@51bikerboy Indeed Hamilton didn't lose in 2021 and i say this as 100% dutch Max fan that he was shafted by an unfortunate red flag. His team shafting him by not giving him fresh tyre's with an blistering faster car under that red flag. But opted for track position. Then he was shafted not even by Masi!! Unlike what people think Mercedes and ALL other teams asked him to do whatever he could to have races no longer finish behind safety car after the fiasco in Belgium earlier that year. With like 5 rounds behind the SC and a race abort due to heavy rain in the following drivers meeting. Something that is never discussed that much. And that's why masi made the decision to unlap only the cars between Hamilton and Max and announced sc ending. He was just extremely unlucky but you can't blame Max for grabbing that golden opportunity. I think much of the pain inflicted on Hamilton fans comes from the fact that they know if Hamilton was behind Max on fresh softs he would have made the pass on Max claiming his 8th WC. I mean his superior speed was clear to see even on old hards he was gaining on Max on new softs on the straight during that lap.
