I think this Hornet was a pre-production sample so didn't come with a flight stand for us to try out, and we had a slight issue attaching the cargo compartment to the fuselage, but overall i think it is a great value and design and can't wait to get my hands on the final kit.

When I built mine I just pushed the cargo hold in with some force. Same as you I was a bit hesitant for fear of breaking something but like I said, brute force saves the day once again! Didn't break (for me at least) as it's pretty sturdy material. Real cool kit all in all!

Update: just got the flying stands in, and the stem slides into the base and is removable for storage. Pretty ingenious design IMHO.

7:30 I’m pretty sure you fit either the landing skids, or the crew compartment, not both. I think that’s why your compartment didn’t fit 👍

I would respectfully disagree with you there. The clearance issues are in the notches on the top being just a tad too wide.
