Isiah Wong showed out for the Hornets a few games. I actually wouldn't mind seeing some more of him. I'm a Hornets fan but also a fan of my home state Pacers. They do their due diligence in drafting, so Isiah Wong could be better than expected. Also I had Brandon Miller and LaMelo in the All-Star with Tyrese Haliburton, Giannis, and KAT for the east. Wemby, Jokic, SGA, Durant, and Ant for the west. Anyone else know their votes please share here.

Not sure if he is playing too fadt, but Lamelo is getting up a lot of shots. 11-32, 3-18 on 3s on the way to 34 pts. Inefficient but with 13 assists.

Inefficient is an understatement.

I truly miss how entertaining Mason Plumlee was. How do I file a formal transfer from the 1st Lance Stephenson Division to the 69th Mason Plumlee Division?

Yea he actually contributed and didn’t just stand in one spot

I stopped watching the games for the first time since Melo was drafted. I wonder what the NBA would look like if they capped individual players salaries to about half or a third of what is considered a "max deal" currently?
@jhoward894611 күн бұрын
Trade Mark and Miles for another 1st rounder for this upcoming draft. Tank mode. Then draft a top 5 and Hansen Yang, he’s a 7ft 1inch center from China who has a similar play style to the best centers in our game today. WATCH HIS GAMES !!!

The Hornets should make a move for Lonzo. Perimeter D and some shooting. It makes LaMelo super happy and it's a safe contract. LaMelo never had to guard because Lonzo and LiAngelo did. Honestly it's the fact they know each other so incredibly well That they were such an effective unit in High School.

i'd keep Ball, Miller, Bridges, both Williams Grant & Mark, Mann, Green. Vasa leaving the team i'm not against it but we need something in return, i'd like the Hornets to keep Isaiah Wong he's good

Get rid of micic, Josh, curry and taj.. We need an active SF and a big man that actually defends.. Why would they get rid of miles if he holds the team down when Melo or Bmill are having bad game, he’s the only other player than get get 30+ on any night

Just touching on the transition issues. From an eyeball perspective there has been a real focus on D culture, and I can see the team thinking about D all the time during the game. Yes they are struggling with it. My issue is that they don't have the right pieces for this culture to flourish. Lamelo is a score first PG, and would thrive with just playing basic defense, with 1 or 2 runners. Also Lamelo needs a strong passing center with "great" hands to grab the rebounds and feed the pace. Also Melo and Miller don't really mesh well from an eyeball perspective. Miller fits better into the defensive mold/mindset. They really need to trade Lamelo or build around him. But what are you guys going to talk about if Lamelo isn't there...;}

Im all for exploring the option of Trading Lamelo and building around Brandon Miller. On the fence with Mark Williams as well. Definitely trade Cody Martin, Josh Green, Vasa Micic', etc still. And I say hold on to Miles another year or 2. Get his value up way more than it is. Nick Richards should stay as well seeing how we're so touchy Feely with Mark Williams. Our depth beyond those 2 isn't anything great.

Need to trade Williams, he is always injured, so he is useless . Richard’s is more valuable in my opinion. I would trade for a star big .

Bro the Hornets have been horrible for YEARS. All Star players, no center, no bench, like they are just trash. How can you not have a plan as a team to improve? Its the same story year over year, whats the point of even following the hornets? truly.

@@outtatime9836 The team has 'all star players' but cant make the playoffs? how is that hard to understand? im saying the team has zero plan. if they did they would work to exicute the plant to field a competitive team and yet they dont so where is the disconnect?
@averiskonsept20 күн бұрын
@@Smokey_The_OGWe have not had an All Star in years. Lamelo being a backup called in last minute shouldn't count. The franchise paid big money to Gordon, $120 million for 168 games. Traded the 13th pick (a serviceable center) for the following year's 27th pick. Traded assets for Kai Jones after drafting James Bouknight. Very little has gone to plan. Injuries, bad drafts, bad contracts. Zero luck But none of that has anything to do with the new ownership. They have a plan. It requires sucking short term.

Hornets available to move, Micic, Curry, Gibson, N. Smith Jr., Jeffries, Martin, Richards and Green. If the Lakers will give up a couple of seconds and Christian Koloko for Nick Richards it would provide another low cost defensive minded big behind Williams to tandem with Diabate.
