WTF is this. Kupchak, are you ok? Lowry is cooked. He's 37!!! Rozier is a borderline Allstar having the best year of his career and is 29! The chances that pick turns into anything considering Miami's reputation and young pieces is unbelievably minuscule. The Bucks and Blazers both got fortunes when trading away Holiday is this really all Rozier was selling for? Huge win for the Heat.

The Hornets got an expiring deal (which frees up 30 million in cap space) and a first round draft pick (which will be similar to the 18th pick that netted the Heat Jacquez). I believe the trade is good for both sides. As a Heat fan I would have been OK with the Heat including our 2nd round pick

Terry can play differently on the Heat. On the Hornets, he took wild shots because there wasn't anyone else there to do it. It was a loose system with young players and no real direction. I think Terry will settle in just fine.

2 things. Shaq is MOSTLY wrong ABOUT Rozier STYLE of PLAY. Yes, he CAN sometimes TAKE bad SHOTS but he's NOT a RECKLESS do WHAT I WANT kind of PLAYER. 2ND, while ON the Massachusetts Celtics Rozier WAS a GOOD defender. He's ONLY 29. No REASON to THINK he CAN'T get BACK to THAT defender!!!

By 2027 Miami will have a old Jimmy so they really don’t have anyone who can replace him (Bam is good but ain’t no.1 as we saw) so it’s solid value for a pick with good chance of becoming high in the draft.
