It was continuous action this hunt, glad to help Brian with the gates, lifting, dragging, and other stuff! The 1.75x mag on the Pulsar provides a nice wide field of view but it’s a tougher shot on base mag , but the high resolution is definitely a plus ! CSMF

Great video, thanks for sharing. I just got a bunch of the 6.5 grendel black sabre ammo. I haven't shot a hog with them yet, but I was a little disappointed with my chronograph results. I got around 2350 fps from my 18 inch barrel. My reloads usually go about 2550. The accuracy is good though, so I'm sure they will be fine. I've been having good luck with reloaded 223 77 grain tipped match kings from sierra, I would imagine the 75 grain sabre ammo should have similar terminal performance. Do y'all think they did good for .223?

@roosterfish3248 Due to time and my issues, we did not get a chance to chrono the .223 and we did not do any necropsies. It is a little slow for the Grendel, but is comparatively inexpensive, right? Based on limuted previous experience, performs like a soft point in terms of expansion.

Have you ever compared the hearth girth measured estimate against actual weights? I have been using it but have not checked very many for actual weight. I shot a boar Saturday that was 40 inches which my chart says would be 201#.

Health issues? Is this that heart thing you had couple years back?

@brewcesroofless-E46 Both wrist and heart issues. They took a plate out of my arm, so that is temporarily weakened. It needs a couple months to totally heal. The other issue is related, aflutter that happened after the surgery, possibly due to a complication of surgery. All treatable, but take time. FUN!
