Ninja Gaiden II Black NO DAMAGE Master Ninja - WORLD FIRST

This is a segmented run that was done live on my stream. I finished it January 29th 2025.
Some of the stream archives are still available, and will upload all of it on a separate channel.
I made some editing mistakes and I would like to point out:
1. It just ended up being a cut at 1:14:25, what I did was open the ninpo chest above the savepoint in chapter 2 and then ran to where the video cut.
2. I opened the chest that normally has grains and gave me money since I was full on it in chapter 7, I forgot to include this.
3. I picked up the shrooms in chapter 8, I forgot to include this.
4. I went back and bought even more ninpo to fill it up in chapter 13, I forgot to include this.
I noticed this after the upload so there isn't much I can do about it.
It doesn't add much to the viewing experience anyway and you can always check the stream archives for legitimacy.

HOLY SHIT. Yesterday, after I killed Genshin and Elizabet (Very Hard mode) in Chapter 17, I thought the game had saved a checkpoint and closed it. Later on, when I opened it again, it was the checkpoint before Genshin and Elizabet, so I deleted the game. :) Great job tho you deserve a like and subscribe

In the first area, there is an infinite spawn down part before the fight to get the staff. That save point is right there. All you need to do is run up ladder the jump down they respond 4 guys in the bottom part.

In this game I think Lunar is hands down the best weapon, it was buffed from vanilla. I consider tonfa the best in vanilla and it is still an amazing weapon! They are all very good and you can use any of them though. Enma's fang is probably the weakest.

I don't understand what's going on with the Elizabet fights. When I fought her on Mentor she would dodge, block or attack through 95% of my attacks. I'd dodge her charge attacks the same as you did, but I could only hit her after it maybe 20% of the time at best. Granted I don't think I tried Enma's Fang on her, but I would have thought a slower weapon would struggle even more to punish her recovery frames. She's the one boss in the entire game that I literally don't understand how I'm supposed to damage reliably.

Many strats in vanilla (where that weapon and therefore strat doesn't exist) rely in hitting here AS she is attacking as opposed to try to punish her. I have one of those with dual swords in a no damage elizebeth video from vanilla on my channel.

Master Ninja was manageable until I got the fiends in chapter 3…please help they are one shotting me

@@doe8939 They are actually by far the most unhinged enemies in the entire game, more brutal than the original because they got rid of the tools you had to deal with them and there are less other enemies around there to windpath (jumping on enemies heads, gives you a ton of i frames) and OT for i-frames. Generally you have to wait for them to come down with their dive attack, dodge it and whiff punish it. Use cover whenever you can. Wait for them behind corners. If you are far away, you can hear them shooting and reactively dodge that way. But you can't dodge it completely consistently because they don't aim for you, they shoot in your general area. If there are grounded enemies close by, use windpath for I-frames instead of dodging. Once you have windblades ninpo, make sure to upgrade it first and use it against them whenever possible. If there is any enemy in the game it is worth burning through your resources for, it's these guys.

@@booce6969 You have to hold block, but you can let go of block and do an attacl and still have your essence out by letting go of block and pressing X/Y with the right timing. The timing is a bit tight. I also do on landing moves a lot, and you can hold block during that. For example you do jump and forward XXY on landing with dragob sword while holding block the entire time.
