Good job! I love what you’re doing with Irish dance but…I guess I’m a little old fashioned because I love the traditional hard shoes. Really good job though, on this (loved dancing the hornpipe when I was still dancing) and everything else I’ve watched. Love the variety of ages, body types and clothing. There’s another Russian channel doing very unique things with Irish dance (Lena Kolkina, if anyone’s curious) and I’m so glad you came up on my feed. Subscribed immediately! Thank you for your comment! 🥰 It's one of our main messages - that dancing is for everyone. As for the shoes - we use different kinds of them, not only taps, but hard shoes are not very comfortable for the old style dancing. And in the end it's the sound that matters 🙃. I know Lena Kholkina in person. She's a talented choreographer with her own view of Irish dance, and what's more, she films her videos herself (I think not without magic, they are too beautiful!). Still, she works with a different style based on competitive and show dancing. It warms my heart to know that you are interested in all that!
