I agree. I loved the book but there were just so many little things about the movie that I disliked.

I regret having bought this movie. The ending came out of nowhere and didn't make any sense. It was desperately in need of a Faustian angle.

Let me tell my little story, I started to read the book, just cause a was alone at a coffee shop, and all magazines were so dull. So, I decided to get a book instead, that book was the novel called "Horns"...I Just buy it cause the title, and cause it was horror, and cause the last novel by the author was a hit.... I didn't even knew that Joe Hill its the son of Steven King at that time (which I am a huge fan btw), but I've only got to one quarter of the book cause I lent it to my girlfriend. I was surprised of the choices of the director of how to start the story, but in the end I did enjoyed it. Maybe I am have some favoritism for Redcliff (I do like him as Harry) or the writer but, the fantasy of the Kings or Hills ( as you wish to call em) Tends to leave a lot of answered questions. They are part of Joe´s style, just like his father. Not every question has to be answered you know...... Any way, I'll finish the book ASAP. Greetings.

I guess everyone is a critic. I found nothing wrong with this movie and will probably watch it again. I think it was a great clash of all the good aspects of a thriller mixed in with some romance so you get emotionally involved with the story. I don't know why people are bashing on it so hard.
