It’s amazing, that both to them had No clue that people in AI era will watch this, Horowitz looking into the camera is a bit like joining with the current audience, joining with a man born in 1903, when you think about it deeply, it’s just outstanding

No doubt that Horowitz was one of the greatest pianists ever. Many times he made people become very emotional and the way he performed was always non-selfish. He always tried to work out the composers ideas/messages and to transfer it to the audience. What I almost didn't and don't like are his arrogant attitudes when he appeared in the public. I don't care who ever it his. People out in the streets, famous actors or presidents.

Ahhhh, this is the concert that I did not go to because it was too expensive for me as a student (at least that is what I thought at the time). Allways regretted that!!!!!

It is so sad that the interviewer is not up to the task ( he didn’t even understand what Horowitz meant by saying that singing on the piano is the most important thing, he thought Horowitz meant his own voice singing), that it is a torture to watch this. A pity, Horowitz had much to say and would have said with a competent interviewer much more!

The journalist is not up to it... he has one of the best pianist ever but his questions are boring, classic stereotype...he is like a schoolboy. Horowitz tries to make it interesting and safe the journalist from doing nothing.

@@daviddemers9093 - I'm afraid you are the one who doesn't know anything about Horowitz. He was not 'senile' at all. If the interview had been in French or Russian, you would never have made that ignorant comment. Horowitz' command of the English language was just very poor throughout his life, which affected the quality of most of his interviews quite a lot. You are obviously not an expert, so you can stop being condescending towards other people now, unless of course you wish to continue being an immature KZbin troll.
