Bowen is indeed our talisman player, that is why he is constantly fouled (like Antonio used to be fouled). In this case Mac Allister -who is in fact a dirty player- did him, in the first half and in the second half. Congrats Alexis.

Absolutely 100% true & correct and 100% passion Mark. You couldn't have hit the Nail on the head any harder. If only we had board members as passionate and telling it how it is like this to Sullivan. Lopetegui should have been sacked at the last international brk at the very latest. Like me as you say I am very very Angry and very very afraid where our season is going, if this guy remains in charge we will definitely be in relegation trouble as the players quite clearly have down tools for this manager and entourage a long time ago. I think we are club that can only operate under a British manager(Exception being SLAV) whether that's Potter or someone else remains to be seen, but whoever the next manager is is going to be straight up against it the longer his appointment is delayed. All the good groundwork of the last 3 seasons has been totally lost, don't get me wrong, Moyes had a hand in this also with staying with an ageing injured squad especially last season. If Potter's the man then of course I will get behind him even though like Lopetegui not my Ideal candidate. My ideal candidates would probably be to get Slav back and have Nobes get his badges and work alongside Slav the guys live and breath West Ham and can even in long term reinstate our Identity and playing style and bringing the Players, Club and fans together as one Family again. The whole Club has changed, for the worse. About 15 years ago, following the announcement that London had won the 2012 Olympic bid, I researched and investigated the subject of rebuilding Upton Park. I did this over an 18 month period. I know it's a moot point now, but my project was to separate fact from fiction and fact from myth & rumour about a possible rebuild. The fact is, UP could have been expanded to 55,000 but it would have taken a huge chuck of money and the Olympic Stadium was a cheaper, bigger option. I loved the 2012 Olympics, was proud to have it there but in some regards I wish it hadn't (because of the stadium.) I only mention this because of how dire the London Stadium is atmsophere wise compared to UP, and it's getting worse. Anyway - happy 2025 everyone. Time for Kudus, Summerville & the like to step up. Speedy recovery to Bowen (and Antonio). ⚒

All this news put out by Sullivan is disgusting. He plays with the fans and the people who work for the club. He’s done it for years so why do we get our hopes up. Last week when you reported that if we lost heavily to Liverpool that Lopetegui would be sacked it got😅 my hopes up. Truth is this will be the case over and over again. No sacking until we are relegation fodder for some considerable time and now Bowen will factor in to excuses for keeping Lopetegui on all season while we limp above the bottom three and the team cannot be arsed. Yes, I’m depressed and I think I’ll give all the news a miss, this season is written off and the lies coming out of Sullivan are toxic.

@@Joan-COYI I know men like Sulivan. I have been expressing these traits of his for 3 seasons yet many don't listen. They actually protect him. Whenever Bowen speaks, many applaud saying what a great captain he has become. Imho, Bowen does little but follow a rehearsed media training script. Saying much with little true content. I have not felt frustrated or disappointed for 2 whole seasons because I'm not delusional. I recognise the script of Sulivan so invest very little of my emotion into this club. If we drop down to league 1, perhaps Sully's mind might change and he sells up.

The lies that were told to us to leave the Boleyn to rent an athletics stadium and hire average to below managers because they’re cheaper and available is a Del Boy mentality to running a Premiership club. Said at the time I would rather play in the championship and stay at Upton Park but wasn’t given the choice. I never trusted GSB and the slight change in the board remains the same. The only way out is for a sell out and let new owners come in with a new set up.

Mark, Happy new year. Don't stress mate. We will cope without Jarrod because Kudus will be playing right side. Imo, Bowen has been okay over all and good in a few games. He has NOT, I say again has not been "an outstanding player for us this season"! Not by a long shot mate. On average, AWB, Fabianski and Kilman have done their job slightly better. Liverpool's Salah, Diaz, Gakpo, Allister or Jones are plays who have been "outstanding". Bowen falls way short of that mark. Let's get it straight. 🤕🤕

We needed a striker before Bowen's injury. Now we need one the day before yesterday. If we fail to get 4 points from the home games vs Palace and Fulham, then we are in a relegation battle, full stop. If the board wants to avoid that, it needs to sign one or two players EARLY in January. I don't have much confidence in the board getting that done.
